About us
T&T Tools, Inc. is a small family-owned business based out of Holland, MI specializing in the design, manufacture, and sale of sub-surface hand tools. T&T Tools was started in 1992 by two friends that had experience in the pumper/cleaner market and with manufacturing. They made the first tools for personal use and more and more people kept "borrowing" their tools. Eventually, they realized there was a need for a tool that provides additional safety, so they created the Mighty Probe.
Feel and Experience the Difference
Our adapter piece converts the Mighty Probe into a mini slide hammer probe. The slide adapter threads between the shaft and handle of the Mighty Probe. It has a 6-inch stroke and adds 8 inches to the overall length of the probe.

Durable
Our metal slide adapter is made of steel and heat treated for added durability. The Mighty Probe is a steel soil probe that is great for hard or frozen ground and designed to resist bending and bowing.
Functional
The Mighty Probe is a high-end tool providing rigidity and safety. Our slide adapter gives the probe a hammer effect so it can drive the probe into compacted soil conditions.
Safe
The Mighty Probe includes a 6-inch composite isolator to help protect the operator from electrical shocks while providing the benefits of a steel rod. Please note: our tool is not intended to replace your other personal protective equipment.
Reliable
The Mighty Probe features an isolator for increased protection against accidental shock from contact with energized lines. An independent testing laboratory tested the Mighty Probe to 50,000 volts.

The T&T Tools Mighty Probe is considered the gold standard for finding buried septic tanks and water pipes. This accessory makes it even greater. After attaching the slide adapter, the slide-hammer action makes it much easier to get the probe through clay and compacted soils. This adapter maintains the 50,000 volt protection of the Mighty Probe. It is simple to attach and you'll wonder why you did not buy it sooner!

The company had a manufacturing issue with the slide adaptor and the one I received was not caught. I called them and they sent out a new within 3 days.
