I was hoping for this crayon to be more like a hard lumber crayon, and these are much softer than Crayola brand. If you rub too hard, the black will flake off. My classes use a lot of black crayons and I'm not crazy about these.

These work alright on most surfaces I tryed like aluminum wood plastic rubber. I didn't try glass and it does work on steel but not like on other surfaces.

Very brittle and do not withstand any type of heat. Any type of pressure while writing with them and they crumble. Crayons were sat on top of a cardboard box on our truck and they all melted into a pile. It was only 60 degreed F outside. Do not recommend buying these, spend the extra couple dollars and purchase the Dixon lumber crayons.

They work but every single one breaks as you use them. Half crayon the whole timeGuess it's a 2 for 1 if you like half sized lumber crayons.

Writes on concrete but breaks to easy. Went through them really quick due to breaking.

I use these to mark locations on asphalt they don't show up very well and they melt extremely quickly. The Dixon crayons are the standard for my use and these fall far below those standard
