I bought two sets for a class party with 20 kids and we didn't even use it all. It was so fun and adding the water to mix was super easy with minimal mess. The shirts turned out bright and my daughter's hasn't faded at all after multiple washes. The bottles are big and the quality was amazing!

We have used this kit for the last several years for an annual hippy-themed block party, and it never fails to impress. It comes with instructions on a poster (which we glue to foam core board) , six large bottles and all you need for tie-dye.There are plenty of rubberbands and plastic gloves, though if you are doing this with kids you might want to purchase small latex gloves, as these are the flimsy ones that are difficult to manage easily and theyre huge.I have used the leftover product months later for tie-dye with no issues, so no need to toss it when done. The bottles come with lids and it stores easily.I would recommend using potash in a 5-gallon bucket to prep the fabric you will be dyeing because it holds the color better.

We have a tradition of doing tie dye parties for my son’s birthdays. I always get a second kit just in case, but have never needed it. This year we did about 2 dozen shirts, two dresses, and three sweatshirts. This is not just a squirt either - real saturation! They’ve lasted from prior years’ parties until they’re outgrown with no fading. I love this product - it’s a ton of fun.Product definitely works best when the garments have been pre-washed and are damp at application.

I got this on a flash sale and was really impressed with how much came in the pack. I still have a good bulk of the dye to use. The colors are vibrant and only recommendation is if you are doing a tedious pattern, get some small squirt bottles.

I actually returned these, but not because there was anything wrong with them. This is a super value. For a party where yo are doing multiple shirts and other items, this is the go-to product. When I do a company or church group tie die project for a service project or something, I am totally buying these again. That said, my wife and I were just in a goofy mode and wanted to have matching shirts for a fund date idea but we could not get our heads around what in the world we would do with the remaining dye, given these bottles are like 12-16 ounces each.

I've used Tulip dye and other brands several times in the past year or so as I have experimented with tie dye. I'm far from expert, but I have successfully made about a dozen various shirts. Tulip dye has been easy to use and has actually resulted in successful shirts. The colors, Duke, the colors!I have tried other brands that ended up washing out during the rinse process, even after being left on the shirts for extra time, which is always a disappointment. Every time I have used Tulip dyes, however, I have had excellent results.This kit advertises that it should be able to make 72 products. That would surprise me. I did tie dye with a very large group (about 90 kids) and we went through this after about 25 kids. Fortunately we had extra kits. The other thing about this specific pack is that, if it is supposed to be good for 72 products, I don't understand why so fee rubber bands are included. There are enough bands for maybe 5 shirts, max. Certainly you could reuse them, but if you're making them in bulk or with a large group, you're going to need a lot more rubber bands. And gloves.

I used this kit to tie-dye shirts for my prek class field day. The shirts came out amazing! I followed the directions to make the spiral and each shirt came out bright with a clear spiral pattern! The kids were thrilled!Pros:-easy to use squirt bottles-no pre-soaking required-color came out bright and lasts-we received many compliments on our shirts!Cons:-made fewer t-shirts than expected-messy and a little difficult to use, but hey, it's tie-dyeMy observations and tops:-This kit claims to make up to 72 projects, but it made 18 youth small t-shirts, 3 adult small t-shirts, and 1 adult xl t-shirt, with a enough dye for maybe 2-3 more shirts. So I'd buy 1 kit per class of 18-20 students.-it's still messy. I used a turkey roasting tin and my own more fitted latex-free gloves. I also covered the table with a plastic cover and wore an apron.-I ended up having to apply the dye as it quickly became too messy for the kids to be touching the dyes. And the you really have to pry into the creases of the shirts to saturate the fabric with enough dye.-if you get the fabric slightly damp, the dye applies mush easier. Too wet and the dye runs out. Dry fabric repels the dye and it rolls off.

This kit provided great, rich colors and was easy to use. There are rubber bands and gloves in the box. There was enough color to dye 6 XL t shirts and a queen sized sheet and used less than half of the dye. I recommend getting something like a cooling rack with a tray beneath to set an item on while dying. Also, be sure to really soak your item through with color. I also recommend washing your items a couple times before dying (most fabrics have treatments on them).

This was bought for my daughters birthday party, and it was easy to use for everyone. All the shirts turned out beautifully. And the longer you let the shirts sit, the better the color. The only thing that would be nice is if there were some kids gloves either purchasable with this pack or included as the gloves included are too large even for an adult. They also had holes between the fingers and I was purple for a couple weeks. Lol. Would be nice if you could purchase other colors in the big bottles as well!

This what a lot of fun. We did 2 full size curtains, 5 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts and 2 pillow cases and still had a fair bit left. Colors were great and instructions good.Lots of included gloves and bands which was greatly appreciated. Gloves were big (which was good for my large hands).

Bought this for my daughter's Tie Dye birthday. It was a success. The colours are bright and vivid. My only complaint is that they do not supply sufficient gloves. The dye colours goes right through them and stains your hands. I would suggest doubling up on latex gloves or use dish washing gloves, they are much thicker. I have not tried that, but thought would try next time.

Bought for my daughter's birthday party. Each child tie-dyed their own towel to take home with them. The kids loved it!! Kit was simple to use and offered everything we needed to complete the project.
