Jerax tools chose Tungsten Carbide blade for our Chamfer Tool Drill Bit. Carbide is a much more superior material than the HSS material that other similar products use. Carbide tools resist abrasion very well. They can also withstand much higher temperatures than steel. Tools with carbide tips maintain a sharper cutting edge better than steel tools. And they generally produce a better finish when cutting, providing a cleaner and smoother cut. In short, Carbide tools cut cleaner, faster and last longer.

So far this product has exceeded my expectations. I bend/cut a lot of heavy gauge stainless tubing. 3/4-1/4.I can already see wear on the 3/4 side but controlling the drill speed will help longevity.My best results have been at about 100> RPM

Bought the generic version of this and it did nothing except get dull when using it on anything but mild steel. This one actually worked on grade 8 threaded rod and fasteners. Nice.
