I bought these fir my first saltwater trip. They cut 50 lb mono and 40 lb fluorocarbon with ease. Small enough to fit inside my fly box. No problem getting through airport in my carryon bag.

These are half the price of the Slick brand. Same profile, same cutters, handle, etc. Just a different color. Sure, they don't come with a spare set of cutters, but at less than half the price of Slicks, buy two. They cut like butter.

These work great! I rarely have to clip more than once. You get a distinct "click" when you clip a line, even 7x tippet. The only negative thing is its a little hard to nip the line at the knot on the flie due to the fact the "edge" is in the middle of the anvil.

Pretty good nipper, cuts as well as my friends over priced Abel nipper. The only thing that is missing is a spare set of blades.
