I like this 7 inch diameter platter mat a lot. Can't say for sure whether or not it makes the turntable sound better, it might. Good substantial black rubber that sits flat on the platter. It certainly makes 12 inch LPs and 7 inch 45s sit more evenly on the platter, and it definitely makes the plastic platter on my cheap modern record player look a lot better.

Perhaps I should have read the description, but when I saw a turntable pad, I expected something for a full sized turntable, not a 7 1/2 inch piece of rubber. I would send it back, but it ain't worth the trouble. Who owns a 7 1/2 inch turntable anyway?

Excellent platter mat for portable turntables. I bought this mat for a Numark PT01 and it improved the turntable’s sound quality significantly.

Les recomiendo que al poner la alfombrilla retiren los 3 soportes de goma con los que viene su tocadiscos tipo maletÃn, son fácil de retirar y se pueden volver a instalar, retirándolos la alfombrilla queda totalmente plana. La alfombrilla tiene el mismo grosor que los soportes de goma por lo que lo hace muy funcional.

If you have a suitcase turntable, like Crosley, where the record touches the lid - this is very useful. For those one cannot use a 12" mat.A few mm thicker would have been even better, but this serves the purpose.
