This is my 6th purchase of this rope. It is easy to install with hot glue gun. It smell natural so the cats do not mind it. The size is perfect and the quality is awesome. I love the natural color . It also dyes very well. You want be disappointed . If your having issues your not doing it correctly.

As you can see in the pictures, this rope is MUCH thicker than the original rope that the scratching posts came with. The price point is also pretty good for the quality and the amount of rope you get. This was enough to fix all the torn up scratching posts we had. We used super glue and it worked perfectly. Now they look good as new and even better! I think this rope will withstand my cat much longer than the previous ones did, so let’s see. My cat seems to like it and has started scratching already.

Bought this to replace cat scratching post on an aging tower. Probably thicker than what I needed - at least 3x as thick as original - but after 3 months zero sign of wear. No odor, cat didn't hesitate to get after it.Would probably get smaller roll if I did this again, was difficult to keep the main ball intact. Did two posts. About 30' used on each.I only used glue on one, secured both initially with staple gun then after completion went back and added in wire staples. 18 lbs tomcat hasn't seemed to do any damage on it.

I had bought the 3/8†sisal rope to re-wrap my cats scratching post. She was a little hesitant because of the new rope smell but, she’ll get used to it. Works perfect for what I needed it for. Very pleased with the quality and price.

I used this to redo some cat trees and it worked super well. Much more affordable than buying new cat trees every time they rip it up!

Purchased this to replace the scratch rope that came on my cats tree that was breaking/falling off in pieces after 6 months. I have 3 cats so it gets heavily used. This rope has held up MUCH better than the rope that came on the tree after about the same amount of time. Best rope for a scratching post that I’ve come across. It doesn’t break or snap the way I’ve experienced with every other rope my cats have used, which not only means long lasting but also less clean up. Very pleased!

I recently purchased similar rope for about the same price but only 50 feet instead of 100. I was so excited to find this. It gave me more than enough to finish my project. Quality is great. It worked well for my diy beehives. Love the look! The color even matched the first rope.

I bought this sisal rope to re-cover a few cat scratching posts. The posts originally had a finer rope and the cats destroyed it in no time and this thicker rope is more durable. It’s easy to re-cover but needed longer staples in my staple gun because of the wider rope. The cats love it, especially with a bit of cat nip rubbed into the rope.

No smell! I originally bought another rope that advertised no smell and that was incorrect. I had hoped it would fade but ended up replacing it with this one. It’s a bit stiff but used some wood glue to keep it in place. They have used it and the rope is staying intact, not shredding. This roll covered 40†of a 2â€x4†. Basically the length of the right side of the cat post. I did some patchwork repairs but it would have covered that area. It looks good and I thinK it will last me awhile. It is well used by 3 cats.

A tad thicker than expected, but still functional.
