I used these upholstery pins to help hold up my LED light strip that is 48’ long in my Casita travel trailer. The Casita has thick carpet on the interior walks and ceiling and it was very time consuming to install these pins as the carpet is very thick, but worth the effort. The LED light strip did have 3m tape but because I was adhering it to carpet I thought I should reinforce the LED light strip using these pins. The pins themselves have ridges that dug into my skin in my fingers because I had to press and turn them and work hard at it to get them to go into the thick carpet. It took 10 minutes to actually hang the LED Strip itself and well over two hours to install all these pins. Out of the 100 in the pack, I used all but five because those five bent. I will update my review if I have any issues with them not holding. For now I am very pleased with them.

I used these pins to attach heavy fabric on the arms of my sofa because my cat keeps scratching them and shredding the upholstery. The pins screwed into the covering and the sofa easily and are holding firm. They heads are clear and small enough so they don’t stand out.

I got this to secure a thick quilt onto my ever-so-worn-in couch to help brighten my livingspace up. Personally, I got the 50ct, and I used a good majority to secure everything down onto my loveseat.Awesome news: THEY WORK. And they hold!!I've had mine in for a good three weeks now and they have NOT budged!! I count that a win (Especially when in comparison with spending $>800 on another piece of furniture). Still totally secure. The winding pattern of the pin really holds things in, even when it comes to thicker materials. Not so-awesome news: They really hurt when you step on them. The tops of these pins are clear so if you lose them, be careful where you step!!TL;DR:Overall 5/5. These are an awesome, inexpensive way to help re-upholster your couch, chair etc.UPDATE 05/23: Updating my review to a 3 out of 5.Why? Because like I was worried about, they fell out. And when I found one, I always found another. Multiple times (I can think of four different occasions off the top of my head before I ended up removing them all...).If you are someone who wears shoes around your house, doesn't have a toddler, and is looking for a temporary solution- THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU.However, if you fit even a single of this criteria, I would advise against purchase. And yes, I did screw them in tight enough, and there was PLENTY of padding.ONE MORE RECOMMENDATION: When screwing these in, keep a mental note of just how many you pushed through. It'll help later when you try to remove them or are in a tizzy because you found one half way across the room.

These work as expected. My hubby uses them to attach cat scratchers to our furniture to prevent damage. Warning: I have extreme nerve damage due to MS and cannot twist them into place. The average person shouldn't have a problem, but I need to get help. Lightning delivery!

I purchased a platform bed but didn't realize that the sheets have nothing to grab on to. Even with 2 different types of elastic clamps to hold it tight, nothing worked. If you screw these in the sheet, on the bottom of the bed, they work pretty good but if you put them in on the side they gradually unscrew so you have to watch them before they come out but they stay if you put them underneath. Much happier.

While these twist pins work marvelously on attaching arm covers to my leather recliner they also work wonders in attaching carpets/rugs I've purchased from Amazon to the wall to wall carpet installed in my apartment. Really keeps the rugs and carpets stable and in place which I love since the carpet tape didn't work at all. Just a note of caution: If you use many of these at one time the place edges are hard on the poor fingers and I received blisters on my finger and thumb after screwing in about 24 of them in. But no regrets at all in purchasing these mini marvels.

Easy to use, practical for pinning a bed-skirt to protect the mattress from cat scratches. Arrived well packaged and on time.

Purchased a new sofa and trying to stop my cat from scratching the corners. Had material and used these pins to attach the material. They worked great so far.

I've used these to affix thicker plastic sheeting to my furniture to fend off my cats and their claws. Worked like a charm! Once you get the point started in the fabric (on furniture), as long as there's no wood behind the fabric, you just screw them in and they stay put. Just as easy to remove them as well and they don't damage the fabric at all. I don't know if I'd use them on leather.
