Pretty confident in the strength of these for what I do. I won't be taking them anywhere near their MBS so they should work great. I just wanted something softer for a few of the hooks I have near the body. This way I don't have a heavy D shackle on it that bounces around and scratches and dents the body near the hook. These can bounce and even bump the body during pulling without doing any damage. I have a small car I have needed to tow around. Weighs all of 2000lbs but the towable points are in really bad spots and rub the body. No more worrying about it with these. They are also huge. So I trust em for my tiny car.

Soft shackles are a must have if you tow or recover vehicles off road. The UCEDER Synthetic Soft Shackle Rope, comes with 2 soft shackles and are rated for 56,000 pounds. These feel quality, though I have not had a reason to test them in action. They look and feel similar to other name brand soft shackles that I own. For the price, these are a great buy and worth keeping in the recovery kit. Will update after I get a chance to use them.

$28 for 2 dyeema soft shackles? Almost sounds too good to be true. But they showed up, and feel really good in hand. I haven't had a reason to test them out yet, but just manipulating them and testing their strength by hand, it feels good. Time and a true, heavy load will tell, but first impressions are good. The price is awesome, and is definitely worth having on hand.I'll go camping next week, maybe I'll have to yank someone off the trail. I'll follow up if I have any different findings after use.

I've compared these to a few well regarded tutorials on how to make your own soft shackles from amsteel and they seem to use the preferred methods of burying the leads and everything. The value was the biggest reason I didn't hesitate to pick these up and to recommend them. Obviously I don't have a lab or a means of measuring how strong they are, but I'm fairly confident of their ability for anything this casual weekend warrior will throw at them.

I was skeptical before these arrived on how well they would hold. The loop chokes around that knot very tightly, and is not coming loose under pressure. It's actually a little bit of a twit to install. Once you have it through though, it ain't going anywhere. The rope appears quite robust, and should work well as a recovery strap point.

These shackles are simple to use and are safer than metal shackles if there is a breakage in one of the lines connected to them. The sleeves should ensure a longer lifespan of these soft shackles; when using the shackles, make sure the connection points are on the sleeve, and the knot is facing up.

Build quality looks great. There are no frayed edges or anything like that. The soft shackle will open up easily and lock up properly. Overall a good design. I just feel so much safer running these soft shackles vs a very heavy steel shackle.
