For the price it's fine. The sticker was missing. That does not factor into my rating because I don't care about it, but if you do know it might not be there.The metal base, the spring, and the plastic bottom all fit great, the hanger and chain look identical to the originals.Just so people are aware, the heat shield has a plastic layer on it that needs to be removed before use. You can see the blue and white in the image, but that peels off.

The original UCO Candle Lantern is a great classic collapsible lantern! The body is primarily brass and the fact that it is collapsible is a great addition.I purchased one at a yard sale for essentially nothing and it was missing the heat shield. I found the refurbishing Kit, but I had also contacted the company. I ordered the kit from Amazon because UCO was sold out. The gentleman said it was an easy fix for the heat shield and offered to send me one, but I had already purchased the kit. Talk about fantastic customer service!Another great value is they have multiple candle types: regular, citronella, and beeswax which burns longer than the first two.Go UCO! A perfect traditional backup for camping, when your power goes out, your battery light dies, or as a personal mosquito deterrent while camping in the woods.

Not sure how many folks still use this lantern, but I love burning a beeswax candle in mine.I have a few of them and have used them at home, on a porch, on the patio, on a boat, in a tent, at a campsite.Having these spare parts that will fit any of my lanterns as needed is a bit of peace of mind.Not sure my original came with the bail handle chain, but really nice to have one now.I suspect the thing that fails or breaks most commonly is the glass globe, though luckily mine never have.My kit did not come with the label, but I did not want a label on mine in the first place anyway.Recommended.

OEM parts.All fit in the same fashion as the originals.Appear to be of the same quality and the springs tension under compression was the same as the one in the new lantern i purchased with the kit.Should work just fine if the need ever presents.

Perfect replacement and easy to install. I don't know why they include the "Cutsie Wootsie" UCO sticker. If UCO could leave the sticker out and charge $0.05 less I'd be happy.

I have several UCO candle lanterns for my emergency kits. I like that they make a repair kit insteaf of throwing the old one away and buying a new one. Good to have spare parts.

It’s a nice replacement for all the parts. Only issue is the bail has a bit of an angle on it that makes it real hard to put on. At the same time I guess that does also mean it doesn’t come off easily.

THE LANTERN COLLECTS WAX IN THE BOTTOM AN A DENTAL PICK IS NEEDED TO OPEN THE LANTERN. ONCE OPENED THE REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE A BREEZE TO INSTALL.
