Our steel cable has two problems. The first is that there are a few kinks that happen when the steel rope drops down between wraps. This causes broken wires which cut you if you don't have gloves and just plain annoying if you do have gloves. A weak spot for sure. The other problem is that the steel cable wants to expand and "birdnest" on you if you don't have tension on the cable and you are on the first or second wrap. The synthetic cable makes these problems go away. Very nice soft cable that is very easy to work with. Other pieces that came with the synthetic rope are also nice and work well. My first synthetic winch rope.

Rope is nice and could not be any longer and still spool on my winch. It comes with a protective sleeving over the last 2 ft by the eyelet. It would be better if that was stitched to the rope as it can bunch up when entering the fairlead.

Inexpensive and easy to install. Requires synthetic cable fairlead. Roller fairleds will chafe synthetic cable and cause cable failure

If the winch line rubber stopper block had a magnet in it to set off my kill switch would be much better but happy with it over all

Spooled into my winch no problem. The hook and rubber stop is good quality also. I had to cut off about 10’ as it was too long for the drum on my ATV winch.Used it twice on my first outing and had no issues. The line looks great in grey too. You can see it hooked up to my trailer as well

everything installed easy onto my existing atv winch - looks good, seems to be excellent quality, the black hook looks better than the regular one you get with the cable. Hopefully the rubber stopper stays intact when pulled in tight.

2010 RTV1100 with warn winch converted to synthetic rope. Works very well. About a months use in a farm setting, directing tree falls, pulling fence, getting unstuck etc. no signs of wear and tear
