The image quality is excellent and the frame rate is a solid 60 fps. One thing to consider though, is that the power delivery only goes one way. It charges my Steam Deck, but not my Quest.I found a work around, but it's rather clunky. I have an Anker USB C hub with a PD port. I plugged that into my Quest 3 and plugged the UGREEN's output into the Anker's USB C data port. With this tangled mess, I can charge both devices at once if needed. If i could change one thing about this product, it would be the ability to charge both devices at once, so maybe a second PD port.Something else to consider, is the direction of the USB C cables plugged in. In order to get the 1080p at 60fps on the Quest 3, I had to flip my USB C connections in some cases.

I’ve been using the UGREEN capture card to connect my Steam Deck to an iPad and also with my Quest 3, and overall, it works well for casual gaming. The setup was straightforward, and it delivers a decent picture quality, which is a big plus. However, I did notice a slight delay in the feed, which isn’t ideal for fast-paced games but is manageable for recreational play. If you’re thinking about getting into streaming non-PC games, this capture card would be a great entry-level choice—it’s affordable and reliable for general streaming needs. A solid device for the price, just keep the minor latency in mind.

Bought it to stream my Nintendo Switch to the Quest 3, it works great, and it also charges the Switch.

So technically, if you know what you're doing, you don't really need a capture device like this for your phone. You can do captures on iPhones and Androids to your computer using software. However, there are reasons you may want a device like this and it may not always be a phone. A game console, for instance.Capture quality is good, frame rate is tolerable if you're just capturing and you aren't trying to play a game from the feed or anything. Otherwise you're going to be pretty annoyed with the "drop" in FPS. For a portable, uninstrusive capture device, though, it's good.

Bought this for connecting my Switch to Quest 3 headset (HDMI Link). I probably missed this in the description somewhere, but it annoyingly requires a power supply connected in order to use. This means you are tethered to a wall somewhere, instead of being able to use the Quest 3 screen anywhere (which was the main reason I purchased this).

Follow the steps that comes with the capture card and you should be good to go. Was able to stream anything with an USB C output with no issues.

I want to share my experience with the capture card device. It works okay with OBS, allowing me to capture gameplay from my Steam Deck and record it to my PC in 1080p at 60 FPS. Setting up the hardware was easy - I connected my Steam Deck to my PC using a USB-C to USB-C+A setup. The adapter also includes a power pass-through USB-C port, which allowed my Steam Deck to stay charged during testing.Since this was my first time using a capture device, I don't have anything to compare it to in terms of quality at the high or low end. I assume that higher-end capture devices may provide better capture quality and options in terms of resolution, while low-end devices might not be as great. However, for the price, this portable device offers a decent middle-of-the-road experience, providing satisfactory video and audio quality at current 1080p standards.

Well packaged and well built. Really easy to use, just plugged straight into my quest 3 and steam deck oled straight out the of the box using the meta hdmi link app on the quest3. 1080p 60fps. I can't notice any lag. Functions as per advertised. Exactly what I wanted.
