READ UPDATE AT BOTTOM!Unfortunately, my review is not a positive one. After testing on 3 separate computers using USB 3.0 ports I could not get a solid connection to the capture card to capture video from my camera. I found the capture card would either power on and off, or simply not be recognized by my PCs. I tested it both on MAC and on 2 PCs with very untrustworthy results.Capture cards are a regular part of my business on a daily basis and unfortunately this one doesn't show itself a trustworthy option.:::UPDATE:::About a week has gone by since this review, and I received another card that was similar to this one to review. Upon trying that card I was curious since the devices seemed somewhat similar and the drivers read similarly if maybe the new card would reset the drivers in this card/my PC. I was right. This card suddenly popped to life and displayed a smooth 4K video footage with no stutter and minimal lag from the same camera it previously failed on. I still cant say I fully trust this card to stay working, but I am excited to say that the card isn't dead and I am hopeful it will continue to work smoothly. Testing it with other cards at the same time may prove more results or revert it back to it's bricked state. So I hold my excitement temporarily till I have more testing time.So far the colors are accurate and it is capturing 4K fully. I am very pleased of that so far! So I am raising this to 4 stars until further notice.

This capture card has elevated my streaming setup with its reliable 4K/1080p 60FPS capability. The 100W PD passthrough means one less power cable cluttering my desk setup. Having tested it with multiple consoles, the plug-and-play functionality makes switching between devices effortless. The additional USB 3.0 port has proven handy for connecting my stream deck.

Here is what Linux says when I plug this device in. Note the message about bad UVC compliance. This is probably why other reviewers complain that this device has problems staying connected. If you’re just getting into streaming or recording gameplay, this capture card is a decent choice. Setup is straightforward—plug it in, and you’re good to go. It handles 1080p at 60FPS without any major issues, and while it advertises 4K recording, don’t expect professional-level results. That being said, for casual use, it delivers a clean and stable signal. The build quality is lightweight but doesn’t feel too cheap. It also includes USB-C and USB-A ports, which is a nice touch for compatibility across different devices. I tested it with a PS5 and Switch, and it worked without noticeable lag. However, the audio passthrough could be a bit cleaner—there’s a slight delay if you’re monitoring sound directly through the capture card. One of the biggest pros is that it doesn’t require additional drivers, making it truly plug-and-play. But keep in mind, if you’re looking for ultra-low latency or pro-grade streaming quality, you might want to invest in something higher-end.Final Verdict: A great budget-friendly capture card for beginners or casual streamers. It’s easy to use, reliable for 1080p 60FPS, and works well across multiple devices. Just don’t expect it to compete with the likes of Elgato or AverMedia.⭐ 4/5 – Good value for the price, but some minor limitations.

This item just worked the first time I plugged it in. It shows up in the system as a standard video source like a WebCam, so for any software that already knows how to use USB video stuff it works just great right out of the box. For something more advanced like streaming, there's a little instruction book included that walks you through downloading and installing OBS to make it work with any sort of streaming software. The value for the money was excellent, especially as I'm remembering back to the bad old days of capture cards that had to actually be installed inside the computer and cost $250 and had really terrible resolution and all that. We live in a magical world now where this tiny item for a few dollars makes any video source go into my computer.
