I have five of these tubes; one for each of my Unstable land playmats. I know some others have had problems with the rubber endcaps becoming loose over time, but I have had my first tube for almost two years and the caps still hold just fine.The polycarbonate plastic used for the tubes is almost indestructible (They use it for bulletproof glass!), and it resists scratching. I throw mine around the house and LGS and it still looks great.If you're looking for a sturdy and nice-looking playmat holder, look no further...you just found it.

This play mat tube is awesome, it's really sturdy and it'll protect your play mat really well. The only thing you need to worry about is the tube rolling off the table or on the floor and unless yourself(or someone else) steps on it like you really mean it, you won't see any damage on it. I wish it was a little bit wider so that I didn't have to roll my mat really tight to put it in the tube, though.

I bought this for the four play mats I currently have, but only three fit. The fourth being a double sided mat, the Delver of Secrets mat. It's just way too fat to fit in. That being said, the plastic on this thing is pretty solid and the rubber ends on each side make me feel like my mats are well encased here. They just need to squeeze a little bit more size out of this thing to accommodate the double sided play mats, something that I think they never thought would happen. I do recommend these if you want some protection for your play mats.

The tube works great, but it is a bit of a struggle to get our mats in and out. It is a very tight fit. I will probably look for something a little larger eventually, but for now it works great. Very sturdy.

I'm using this as a game toy for "find the object". As you can see I placed some little toys in there with the beads so my grandson can find the object or ask them what did you find. I'll add coins in there too so when he starts learning the different coins we can ask him find the penny, dime, etc. I'll have to glue it shut in case he can get into it.It will be a great product to place art work or game mats in which is the original use for it.I gave the 3 stars for durability and sturdiness because it's made of plastic. I didn't want a hard side like glass or hard plastic that my break.

I purchased this tube in order to travel back and forth to my local game store with an UltraPro game mat. The tube is excellent quality and the capped ends stay secure in a backpack. The tube itself is a bit narrow in my opinion for taking the mat in and out, but does take up less room than some other larger tubes designed not to roll. I ultimately went with the UltraPro brand for their quality and name and I was not disappointed! I would recommend the tube and play mat to anyone playing card games to keep their collection safe during play.

… …the closures on either end are a completely different shape than the listing photos and different than the Ultra-Pro tubes I’ve bought in the past. The other two that I own are completely circular, and I wanted a third to match. This one has squared ends, which while it doesn’t really impact usability, is not what was advertised or expected. Kind of disappointed and considering returning.

J'ai un tapis personnalisé mais il ne rentre pas dedans car trop epais, dommage. Sinon Ìe produit en lui même est bien.

Some of the reviews were saying you have to roll it ‘really tight’ to get the mat in. You don’t at all. My pikachu mat is rolled about as tight as it was in the box it came in. There is space above the mat for about another inch/inch and a half of playmat. So if you have a slightly bigger mat then these ultra pro pokemon ones it might still fit.Only thing I don’t like about the tube is it has rubber ends rather then plastic ones I’m used to on my older playmat tubes from a decade ago. Nothing against the rubber ends it’s just personal preference as I like the plastic ends.

Very disappointing. I was looking for a tube for a slightly oversized playmat. The add said the tube was 16" so I was happy I found it. Sadly the info in the add appeared to be false. In reality the tube is well under 15" and the playmats didn't fit 😞 The tube itself is fine for standard playmats.
