Vacuum Chamber Packaging

Designed to deliver puncture and tear protection while maximizing shelf life, these pouches are perfect for preserving beef, poultry, pork, frozen seafood, cheese, vegetables, grains, and more without sacrificing quality or flavor.

However, a stronger seal requires a stronger vacuum. These pouches are only compatible with chamber vacuum sealers, which provide a more consistent seal than FoodSaver, Weston, or Rival hand sealers. Chamber sealing uses an enclosed chamber that removes air from the entire chamber and maintains equal air pressure inside and outside the bag. Once the bag is sealed, air returns to the chamber. This offers a reliable solution to sealing liquid products and moisture-rich foods. Smaller vacuum sealers do not effectively contain liquids and often create a partial seal.

Smaller vacuum sealers (Weston, FoodSaver, etc.) do not effectively contain liquids and often create a partial seal. Combine with UltraSource Boil-in bags to easily store foods for Sous Vides applications.

Sous Vide, which means 'under vacuum' in French, is the process of vacuum sealing food and submerging it in a controlled-temperature water bath. This cooks food products more evenly and consistently with little work involved.

Our standard bags are rated for temperatures up to 195°F. For higher temperatures use our Boilable vacuum bags.

Sizing Vacuum Pouch for Rectangular Products

For Rectangular Shaped Product Areas

Vacuum Pouch Width: add the width of the products you are sealing to the height of the product you are sealing plus 1 inch.

Vacuum Pouch Length: add the length of the product you are sealing to the height of the product plus 2 inches.

Example: for a 6" wide, 7" long, and 0.75" high piece of meat, a vacuum pouch that is at least 8" wide and 10" long would be a good choice.

Vacuum Pouch sizing for Tubular Products

For Tubular Shaped Product Areas

Vacuum Pouch Width: Multiply the diameter of your product by 1.5 and add 1 inch.

Vacuum Pouch Length: add the diameter and length of the product plus 2 inches.

Example: for a sausage that is 3" in diameter and 7" long, a vacuum pouch that is at least 6" wide and 12" long would be a good choice.

It seals good in a commercial cryovac machine. It keeps my food fresh when I freeze it. However, it feels more like plastic than the other material I'm used to. This is more plastic but it is thick and does its job well. Would buy this again!

Previous to purchasing these, we were using the remaining seal-a-meal bags with our new chamber sealer. These do seem a little sturdier and they work well. My only complaint is that they are smooth in texture on the outside rather than the rough surface of the seal-a-meal bags. Therefore, we cannot stack them on the shelf in the freezer because they just slide off (watch your toes!!) so we are looking for a basket system to use in the upright freezer. Other than that, they are good!

Product showed up quickly and was the smooth wall pouches as expected. They are the correct outside dimensions. They showed up in a box with 4 blue bags full of 250 each (which - seller - create a sample pack! 250 of different sizes PLEASE!)They seal up well in my USV32. I bought both 6x10 and 10x13 and both worked great.BUTOk this is probably very specific but it matters: these bags are only 2.5 mils think, not 3 mils. See picture: 5mil total thick is 0.13mm. I have measured with a very precise caliper and compared to other quality 3 mil bags (which measure 0.15 or 0.16mm)Second these are not rated for boil (please note they do NOT advertise they are). The manufacture quickly replied to my question, which was great, that they are rated only to 195F (ok for sous vide) but not rated to boil. I personally tested pure drinking water in these and other quality bags and boiled for 4 mins and one sample for about 10 mins. The 4 minute boil was fine: no adverse flavor. The 10 minute the plastic started to deform and there was bad flavor.So summary: I believe these are a good low cost option for freezing or storing food. I would be ok with normal sous vide temps. If you need every bit of thickness or boil I would spend more.

I ordered these for my new chamber vacuum that I purchased. I didn't really know what to order, and I went with these as they were cost effective. Well, they sure are thin...If you put stuff in these and then put them in the deep freezer. Try not to move the items around. The thin walled plastic will puncture easily when shuffling them around.Overall, I'm happy with them, and I know next time to get the 4mm thick pouches.

I got my first chamber vacuum sealer last week and needed some bags to get things started. One of several reasons I wanted a chamber sealer was for the lower bag cost. I bought 1000 of these 8x10 bags to get me started. When these arrived I did some testing of various items with the chamber sealer and these bags performed flawlessly. I sealed some items with hard edges and had no punctures of the bags (3 mil bags). I think I made about 20 different seals just because I was playing with the sealer and familiarizing myself with it as well. At 4.3 cents per bag, you can't go wrong here. My Vacuum sealer is probably the MOST used accessory item in my kitchen so 1000 bags won't last me as long as you might think. I liked these so well I ordered the 10x13 size today.
