At 72 years young I am so very happy to have a tool that eliminates the 125#-150# tongue weights on my log splitter and utility trailer that I have up until now moved about under my own steam. Works extremely well on level and slightly inclined/declined surfaces, however, trying to push the aforementioned tools on a greater incline is a bit difficult as might be expected. The ability to attach this dolly to a lawn tractor and/or ATV allows me to finally get that log splitter exactly where it will do the most good. One last thing, the "steerability" that this dolly allows makes it a cinch to place your tool or trailer exactly where you want it; especially helpful in the garage.

PROS:PriceLatch Pins on everything that flips up, down or outGenerally well builtSolid tiresCONS:Wheel bearings seem like a weak spotAssembly manual is the exploded view parts list - you get to figure it outPackaging does not withstand shipping well - but everything was still in the box when it arrivedTOOLS:Pliers - for securing cotter pins3/4" wrench(s) - for the "large" bolt11/16" wrench(s) - for the "small" and "short" boltsLarge adjustable wrench - for the ballEXPERIENCE:The box arrived pretty banged up and had a couple holes punched through.Initially, I only found one of the cotter pins required to install the wheels on the axels. If you lay out the parts (2 washers, 2 cotter pins, three bolt/nut/washer sets, 2 tires, one handle assembly, one chain with clevis pin, one 1 7/8" ball and one mysterious bracket that ties the handle to the axle - assembly is fairly intuitive.I Pulled out the axel and mounted a wheel assembly by placing the wheel onto the axel. placing a large washer over the end and securing it with a cotter pin. I then flipped the axle over and repeated teh process on the other side. The next step is to take the "mysterious attaching bracket" and to attach it to the axel assembly. It will really only go on one way and they make sure of that by supplying bolts of two different diameters. You will want the "large" (3/4") drive bolt first. Also, grab up the chain with the clevis pin. That chain will have a small metal ring attached roughly in the middle. That chain slides over the "large" bolt while being assembled (to keep the pin from getting lost).Test fit the "mystery bracket" to the axle assembly - you will see a hole for the "short bolt" directly under the ball mount and the hole for the "large bolt" on the side. Insert the "large bolt" half way and then slide the ring and chain over the bolt. Insert the bolt the rest of the way through the bracket and tighten finger tight. Now, insert the "short" bolt and tighten it finger tight. Now, tighten the bolts the rest of the way. You should be left with one "small" blot (11/16" head) that attaches the handle assembly to the "mystery bracket". Note that the handle is designed to pivot to one of three positions. There are three holes in an arc that, once the pivot bolt is installed, can be adjusted and set with the clevis pin. Install the "small bolt" and tighten until the bolt end is flush with end of the nylon insert. Don't overtighten or the handle won't pivot. That's it.The first time, the little ring on the chain baffled me. I ended up taking the large bolt back out and sliding the ring over the bolt to hold the chain. I also overtightened the large bolt and pinched the handle assembly.CONCLUSION:Once correctly assembled, it worked great. It's a little low for my utility trailer. A higher ball would be nice but, for the price, it works just fine.

The quality seemed good the assembly was a no brainer but when pulling by hand if the dolly is level the handles are closer to my knees than my waste. I really don't like it for this reason. 8-10 more inches of handle would have solved this problem. I am 6'2 I would guess if you were under 5 feet tall it would be perfect.

We bought this to move an 800 lb wood splitter that is on Wheels and has a tongue with a ball hitch. It works great for moving the wood splitter around instead of having to use the four wheeler. It would be a great idea to include assembly instructions though.

We use our lawn tractor to move our empty trailer out to our truck. When the yard is to wet, really works well

Assembled in 20 minutes. Use it many times using trailers around the yard. Great on flat grades. Don't recommend using it on steep grades as it can push or pull you with heavy trailers or loads.

Pretty decent for what I use it for. I doubt it will support 600#
