The glass in all three pieces (cover, mug and infuser) is remarkable sturdy as well as quite lovely. I can easily tell when it's time to remove the infuser from the mug because I can clearly see the color of the tea. The infuser is easy to clean and the cover/lid keeps the tea quite warm for an extended period of time. It's the kind of gift I plan to give yo all my tea-loving friends--especially those who prefer loose tea.

Love this cup! It is great to look at - I keep it at my desk at work, and like to see how 'strong' my tea is developing. I like that you can flip the cover over and rest the strainer with the used tea leaves in it. I will say that the handle is a bit low for my hand to hold occasionally and little awkward in the 'feel' as I lift it. Otherwise - it's great!

I love it. I use Blooming flower tea and love to see the flower bloom and release a little color and scents. However, I was rinsing the inside glass and it slipped out of my hands into the sink and broke. It makes me so sad. Now I have to buy a whole new one.

I don't believe a glass infuser would work the slats are too large and I ended up with a glass off tea with hundreds of floating tea leaves zero stars do not purchase

Pretty and great quality, I put it on stove, and it heats up quickly without any problem.

It came packaged so beautifully in its own box with styrofoam around it. Works just as described, I even had it in the freezer.
