Occasionally, I get to help out transporting our grandson to appointments . And I always had trouble unbuckling his harness. Sometimes worrying that I would never get him out! He is 6, & told me that "maybe I needed to cut my fingernails". So I did trim my thumb nails.. LOL! But with his help, I could get him out (needed 4 hands!!) Anyway! Bought this & it works very slick! My grandson even used it to show me that he could do it too! If you have ever had trouble getting your child or grandchild out of his car seat, I highly recommend this. It will save you some stress!

This is our second time buying an UnbuckleMe because it really is a game changer.We have had one in our primary vehicle for a couple of years that our son has used to unbuckle himself in the car rider line at school. We bought one recently to keep in our other vehicle for the same reason. It has given him a sense of responsibility in our morning drop off routine which can sometimes feel rushed. He's able to get unbuckled and be ready for his teacher to open his car and walk him to the building quickly.

The product arrived exactly as the description stated. I used it on my highchair for my granddaughter with one hand. I used just and thumb and fore finger. Pressed the two ends together and it unbuckled the safety harness immediately on the first try. Having arthritis in my fingers, this product is very handy and works like a charm.

This is a great device to help kids (or, I’m sure, adults who have trouble with their hands and/or strength) unbuckle their own car seat. It is still a little tricky for my small 5 y/o to use on his own sometimes, though: sometimes it’s tough for him to position just right b/c it has to slide in between the padding and the buckle; and he still needs to use all his strength to push it enough to unclasp the buckle. It is entirely possible it varies depending on which seat you use it with, but he does still sometimes need a little help.

I am a nanny for twin girls. I had trigger thumb surgery six months ago and didn’t want my thumbs to hurt every time I pushed the car seat button on seat belt. This item works wonderfully. I am able to slip it over the button and easily pop the seatbelt open without hurting my thumbs.

It’s simple and it works with very little effort. I have carpal tunnel and hated unlocking safety belts. It’s changed my life.

Makes it easier to get my nephews out of their car seats! I like to get my nails done (at a non functional length) so this makes it so I do not break my nails.

This is literally the best invention ever. So easy to use and does the job. No more broken nails. Love love love. Great for people who have wrist problems or pain and have a hard time unbuckling kids. Best investment

I’m not elderly, I don’t have arthritis or any other mobility issues but REALLY struggle with the buckles on baby car seats, and buggies; it seems the more expensive they were the more difficult they are to release!This gadget has totally changed things for me, it’s worked like magic on high chair, car seat and buggy which makes life easier for me and far less frustrating for toddler! Highly recommended

This is the best tool to have. My 4yr old has it to use if she needs to get out of her seat (makes me feel safe that in an emergency situation she can get herself free). Also great for people with arthritis in their fingers.

I'm a woman who loves to get her nails done, therefore this is a perfect item for me. I used to use my key to press the button but with this buckle aid is perfect and very practical. It is made of good and sturdy material and works perfectly.
