I am a senior and needed extra mobility. This is perfect for under my desk , and is very quiet so I can use it while watching tv or playing games. The only thing I have an issue with is I have to get someone to move it for me because it is a little too heavy for me. Other then that great product.

I got this to offer some passive movement for all the time I spend at my desk.It does that and I'm surprised that it is both stimulating and relaxing at the same time. The gentle movement seems to be relaxing, but when I'm done I can feel that my legs are invigorated. It's easy to use and I like the remote control. The only problem with it is that I seem to have to reach down below the seat of my chair and "aim" the remote at it otherwise it doesn't recognize it.The height and the elliptical size seems just right. I haven't had to adjust my chair or desk to be able to use this under my desk. When I first started using it, the machine sort of "migrated" but I realized that I was putting too much pressure on it or attempting to move the elliptical myself. I prefer the passive motion.

The package shows 4 screws in package along with the screwdriver to assemble I received the screwdriver but not the 4 screws. Screws are needed to attach the foot pedals.

I got this under desk elliptical machine for my elderly parents to use while watching TV. They have a full seated arm/leg elliptical machine in their basement that one parent uses occasionally, but I thought this would allow them to move their legs while glued to their favorite TV programs. So far only my mom has used it once and doesn't think it's doing anything for her, so she won't use it again. I have been using it whenever I am sitting with them because I love it. It does not get my heart rate going like their regular elliptical machine, but I do feel my leg muscles getting some work on higher speeds. What I love:* Moves forward and backward.* Easy to move (not too heavy and has a handle area where you can also store the remote).* Manual option (where you can change the speed and direction yourself) and three pre-programmed options.* Quiet -- other than the "beeps" when you start the machine and a quiet "rolling" sound on faster speeds, there is no noticeable noise (the TV is always on when I am using this and this machine does not disturb my parents).* Nicely built machine -- much more sturdy and well-made than I was expecting.Things to keep in mind:* Programs last for 30 minutes, then the machine will shut off.* It's a little difficult to figure out the remote vs. the machine keys. I figured it out, but my mom was very confused so I had to operate the machine and stay with her.* Does not come with a floor mat. I got one separately, but it is not needed. I have used this on a wood floor and on carpet. It did not slip on either surface.* You do not stand on this machine -- it's for sitting and not suitable if your desk faces a wall (might not have enough room to use it). I recommend measuring the space unless the desk or table is open in the front. I use it while seated in a chair next to a table. I have long legs, but my knees do not hit the table while using this machine. The table is slightly taller than my office desk at home. Since I am living with my parents as their caregiver, I cannot test using this under my home desk.I have had an under desk pedaling machine as well as a small stair stepper. I rarely used either. But this elliptical machine is different. I really enjoy using it and try to use it whenever I'm sitting in front of the TV. It does not replace my 90 minute cardio on the treadmill but it does keep my legs moving!

I barely had enough room for my legs to use this under my desk. I'm 5'5" and don't have particularly long legs, but I made it work by pushing it back under my desk as far as I could reach. This results in my using the elliptical in a semi-reclining position, which kind of actually works my stomach muscles as well. I don't feel like this machine is anything that is going to burn calories or build muscles. It is mechanized so it does most of the movement for you. What it does do is create some movement, so you get some circulation going. I would not suggest it if you have a bad back, however. It could put you in positions that might put strain on your back, especially if you have to put it far back under your desk so that your knees don't bump the underside of your desk while using it. I would say you need at least 9 extra inches under your desk to be safe. You could also use it when sitting and doing other projects like quilting or watching tv. It does get your blood circulating!
