Really glad I bought this. It works perfectly under my desk - my knees do not hit my desk, which is about 27 3*4" tall, and I'm 5' 6". I do have an adjustable chair that's pretty low, and I sit on a cushion when I use it. I got this because I have arthritis in my lower back and foot/ankle. I learned that sitting is one of the worst things I could do for my lower back - but I have to sit for long periods for my job. My physical therapist uses a recumbent stationery bike for patients, and thought maybe this could help me when I have to sit for long periods of time. It definitely has helped. One valid criticism I have seen in the comments is that this thing is VERY heavy and not easy to move. I had my partner put it together and move it for me because my back was so bad I could not possibly have done it myself. The pro of the heaviness is that it does not move around under the desk, it stays put. I don't really use the digital readout so far, I don't care about it too much so I can't say whether it's any good or not. After using it in my home office for a little over a week, my back and ankle feel SO much better. It's been a dramatic change for my lower back pain. So far it is pretty quiet, just a "whooshing" noise when I use it, but I suppose that could change. I hope not, because so far it is perfect.

This was a item I compared to numerous other brands and had cancelled 4 other orders before I came across this unit. I wanted something very durable and smooth in operation that would hold up to daily use in the Winter months. I also wanted a personal elliptical that had a resonable stroke distance since I did not want to feel as if I was just exercising my ankles. I almost ordered their 2nd best unit but I decided on their pro model. I am so glad I ordered this one since it is everything I wanted from such a device with smooth movement to a decent 12" stoke distance. I also can already feel the benefits of this machine after only a week of use and the elastic resistance bands are actually building up my bicep strength as I use it to do curls and various other arm movements while I am stepping. I am an avid cyclist so this helps me with the upper body resistance work as well. This unit also has the added benefit of positioning the resistance bands on the front or on the rear since it is shod with attachment points on both ends. The other brand I seriously considered was the unit from SunnyDay but I could see that it used a roller on one end of the pedal and the stroke did not appear to be very long (7"?). I read reviews about noise and that is one thing I am sensitive to so I did not want to risk getting something that would start making a noise after a short period of use. The NiceDay unit is defintely quiet and the weight is not difficult to manage if I want to move it. It is relatively compact so it sits in my living room so I can use it while watching the news or streaming a movie. Great way to get in the reps which makes for the time to fly by.Regarding support, they are wonderful and responsive and they assisted me immdiately when asking about some options for the resistance bands. I was really impressed and also they note that support is very important to them and the warranty on this unit is a lifetime. That is YTBD, but I wont question that at this timeI can only say that this is one of the best exercise machine purchases I have made and hope to use it for many years. I think it is the best unit available in the price point and I know that is a pretty bold statement but maybe someone will show me something better in time. I give this product a "A" rating and the same for their support. I highly recommend this unit for someone who wants to get a decent supplimental workout whether it is used in standing or sitting operation.

It was easy to put together & I’m able to use it under my desk as I work. There is a knob that increases/decreases the resistance of effort & it works well. The setup is exactly as advertised, the machine itself seems well made. So, how does it work for me. I’m not sure how the person in the picture used it when standing, but I nearly fell off. There is no stride even though it says there is. I use it under my desk without any trouble, although I push it forward so as to get more stretching when I use it. It has made a noise a time or two, I’m not sure why though. I think it’s a good product for sedentary people-movement is good. I wish it had a step counter though.

Connection to zwift is best feature. Zwift has workouts for low level fitness and they are interactive. They increase in difficulty as fitness improves. This is the only under the desk cycle I could find that connects to Zwift.After two months the senior using it has stopped shuffling and is standing up with more stability. Two 15 min Zwift sessions a day. And after the sessions they weren’t tired out, didn’t have to have a lie down and could continue with activities of daily living.It’s 3 months old and the display won’t turn on but it still connects. There is a problem with one of the Zwift features (erg mode) which has just started and I cannot tell if it is Zwift or the device. It is very difficult to set up to work with zwift but vey much worth the effort. Zwift has a list of approved devices and the Niceday is not listed there.

Very easy to assemble. Operation is very quiet. I prefer this machine which is not powered because it provides real adjustable tension. Although I have been using it only for about 2 weeks, it looks like it is well-built. However, this machine is quite heavy. Lifting and moving it around provides good exercise.The other feature I like is - it can be used while standing up and simulate walking motion.
