This is good enough for a very young kid (2-5).I wouldn’t use these on on a kid who is advanced in outdoor activities.The quality is acceptable for the use of beginners activities.My granddaughter is 5 and just learning how to ride her bicycle and it is great for this.The plastic protective parts are hard and will sustain a decent impact from a small child falling.They are Velcro adjustable and run on the smaller side. (Granddaughter is very petite and they are almost too small for her) the length of the Velcro strap.They are easy to put on and take off.They are really cute too. They come with a lot of stickers to decorate them.

I got these for my daughter to go with her roller skates, they are very cute and she loves the patterns, however one strap did break on the second use of the knee pad. The rest seem to be holding up so we are still very happy with them.

These are not the right size that rhey say i would by 2 sizes bigger, I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter the size I bought should of said for a baby size.
