This is a great little product. Sturdy, well-made. Holds the iPhone 13 Pro with ease.Mount it on your tripod and youรขโฌโขre ready to go. Comes with a Bluetooth remote thatรขโฌโขs easy to pair and use.It would be five stars across the board, but:On the remote you donรขโฌโขt get a live view. Itรขโฌโขs fine, but if you have an Apple Watch, it provides you with a live view. Do the watch thing.I would like a couple of added features on the mount. For the part that holds the camera mount to the unit I would like to see angle marks or click stops at 90 degree angles.Another nice feature, but Iรขโฌโขm not sure if this is possible, 2 bubble levels to ensure the camera is square would be great.Maybe in the next edition?All that said this is a well-made compact and useful product.

This review is for: KobraTech Cell Phone Tripod Mount - UniMount 360 Universal iPhone Tripod Mount Adapter with Remote - September 11, 2020I am a retired professional photographer and I needed an inexpensive cell phone holder for my tripod so I could be in an occasional family photo that didnรขโฌโขt take an hour to setup.I was surprised about the QUICK delivery (1 day), the Bluetooth remote that allows both still pics and movies on my Android Samsung 8 cell phone and the 100% Guarantee (which I am not expecting to need). As indicated in the seller's information, this unit is made of plastic and uses 2 metal screw threads and metal sockets. One socket attaches this device to your standard tripod which allows you to rotate the phone 360 degrees while framing your picture. The other socket is on the bracket that actually holds the camera. This could allow for a sturdier connection to a good tripod but I will probably be using the KobraTech 360 degree feature to position my camera. I believe it would be easier to use in รขโฌลselfieรขโฌย mode than adjusting my tripod.Like other plastic photo products I have used with my cameras over the past 40+ years, I would treat this cell phone adaptor with care. I would not be shocked if it broke due to over tightening or putting excess weight or G-forces on the adaptor, especially when a cell phone is attached. This adaptor should handle my casual photo needs. Any photo shoot more challenging and I will pull out my professional equipment and get behind the camera.The second reason why I purchased the KobraTech Cell Phone Tripod Mount was the Bluetooth remote. Depressing either the iOS or Android button would take a still picture on my Samsung 8 cell phone or if set to รขโฌลvideoรขโฌย would start and stop the video recording process. I did nothing to pair the device to my phone. It worked out of the box. The KobraTech literature says the Bluetooth remote will work up to 30 ft away. I was pleased to see that they under rated the remote as I was able to take test pictures over 40 feet away with the fresh CR 2032 Lithium battery that came with the unit. There is a noticeable blue LED light on the remote that flashes when you turn the Bluetooth unit on or press one of the buttons. This is your confirmation that the battery is working or you have just pressed the Android or iOS button to take a picture or start a video.Overall, I believe that this unit will work well for the casual photo opportunities where I want to be in the picture orรขโฌยฆ I want to take candid photos and not scare partygoers with รขโฌลDadรขโฌย taking "more pictures again".

This is a ROCK SOLID phone holder that mounts extremely easily on any compatible camera tripod which should be most of them. Unlike the flimsy and sloppy spring loaded units that require two hands and a trained monkey to operate, this unit has an excellent, solid screw mounting clamp for the phone. The screw operates extremely easily with well designed knob. Just adjust the clamp to a bit larger than the phone's width, slide the phone into the clamp and snug the clamp closed with the knob. The jaws have firm rubber pads that prevent any scratching or damage to the phone and hold the phone rock solidly. The jaws adjust to make the unit compatible with a wide variety of various width phones.

The best camera you have is the one you have with you. Today that often means our smartphones. One of the best ways to get the best possible photos & videos is with a tripod adapter that allows a smartphone to be attached to a standard tripod. Here are my likes & dislikes with this KobraTech solution:Likes:* Screw design makes for a very secure hold on your phone compared to cheaper spring mounts* The tripod mounts are metal so should last* The grips for the phone are ridged and rubberized for a safe, secure hold* The adjustment knobs for securing the phone and rotating it both seem to work well* Includes a bluetooth remote (not yet tested)Dislikes:* The body is plastic and has some give to it -- looks like it could be broken if too much force is applied. Would be much nicer if the body (and other parts) were made of aluminum.* The foot could have been designed to be arca-swiss plate compatible w/o adding to the cost. This would have added value.* The color is limited to basic black with the KobraTech name and logoI have the MeFoto Sidekick360, which is vastly superior in build quality, more attractive, and is arca-swiss compatible. I far prefer that, but it is almost double the price (and no remote). Browsing Amazon, I am seeing quite a few adapters that look very similar to the KobraTech, but at nearly 1/3 the price. Unless you really, really want the bluetooth remote (not a big draw for me), I would either go for one of these cheaper adapters w/o a remote, or if you think you'll use this often, go for the MeFoto adapter (note: an issue with the MeFoto is that you need to buy the right size for your phone; this KobraTech adapter is universal).This is a very helpful accessory to have, and it is not a bad product. Given the cost compared to similar products on Amazon, however, along with the list of dislikes above, I am only giving this 3 stars.

This item was ordered at 21.45 on Saturday and arrive at 09.30 the next day - Sunday. Amazing. The same word can apply to the product. I had no trouble pairing the remote shutter release with a LG Phone and also a Hawuei phone. I have a mini tripod fo use on table top photography and this mount fitted to it without any bother, also my fill size tripod. There is plenty adjustment to take either of my two phones. I do a lot of photographing small objects and at my age - 80 my hands are not as steady as I would like. This mount and remote stutter release has proved to be the answer with nice sharp pics.Good size thumb wheels together with a build quality second to none means I would be happy to recommend this piece of equipment to anyone, hence the five stars.

Just a perfect tripod mount for my iphone 14 pro. Beyond easy to set up and use.First one had a remote that wouldn't connect to/pair with my bluetooth. One email to Kobratech with the details and a new mount & remote set was sent in the mail. Just came today and it worked instantly. THAT'S what great customer service looks like. Would buy Kobratech products again in a trice รฐลธโย
