Can use it for everything don’t really climb but seems sturdy enough to be able to. Mostly use it as a dog least connected to my belt or for floatation connecting apparatus.

I use it on my backpack to hold bags and stuff for shooting competitions. I have always liked black diamond products, this is no exception
