It is affordable and it works - that is all I can really say about it other than I bought it to find out the RPM of a lego train sprocket (645 RPM) so I can reduce the gear spin to 1RPM to rotate a hotdog for my son’s solar cooker science project.

I own this Uni t UT- 373 and discovered that the included reflective tape has a coating that needs to be peeled off of BOTH SIDES for the reading to lock on steady. I didn't see this listed in the instructions. The clear coating on the non-adhesive side inhibits the laser signal from being reflected properly back to the optical sensor in the tachometer. Until I did this the readings were fluctuating wildly.*** Maybe this is the reason for Amazon's note about this being an item that is returned frequently, when it's an issue with the reflective tape and not a defective instrument.

La calidad de construcción es normal: Plástico de calidad aceptable. La pantalla no ilumina lo suficientemente deseable. Fuera de eso, el producto es confiable, toma lecturas de altas RPMs muy pronto y en tiempo real.
