I use Celsius thermometers for my private high school chemistry class. Thes scales are easy to read and reasonably priced. I like how there's only the Celsius scale and not the Fahrenheit scale too. Also, the range of the scale goes only a little above 100 degrees Celsius. As the range get broader, the price comes down, but students have a harder time reading them. I prefer a narrower range for easier reading. It was hard finding a thermometer with this range at a reasonable price. They seem to be accurate. For my laboratory needs, accuracy is not critical. We are mainly interested in the change of temperature. At the high school level, we learn how to calibrate thermometers when accuracy is needed. Sure, I'd love to have high end thermometers, but students break them accidently from time to time and that would disappoint me. These thermometers meet my needs and price range well.
