I just tried installing this dryer and one side would not thread in. It turns out the thread is not perfect and this doesn't have an angle but a sharp end to thread. The OEM has a taper to help it screw in. This one doesn't. I can't sent it back so I need to fix the thread before I can get it on there. A 15 to 20 minute job just became a few days job while I get the tools I need to fix the thread. It was pressurized so that was good to see.

On the first UAC drier the fitting threads were non standard. On the second, the fitting threads and the inside ID for the pipe were wrong. I'll never buy a UAC branded drier again. Chinese junk.
