It holds the fire extinguishers fine. I screwed right into the stud to be extra strong because I don’t trust people not to find a way to rip it off the wall otherwise

The mount itself is solid and of good quality and will easily do the job. The mounting hardware is not good; you will want to use something else unless you drill the screws right into a 2x4.
