Very bad design for this application!!! You can’t adjusted correctly! I was trying to unlock the old rusted ring but I couldn’t,so a few hours later finally I removed the ring and the pump and after I installed a brand new pump and new ring I was trying to use that tool, no luck whatsoever. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

seems well made, but i did not use it. I needed my car before it could get here so i pounded my pump ring off. It does seem pretty sturdy and it will fit my car. It also adjusts easily, and it arrived a little early. those are the reasons for the 5 stars. sorry i wish i could be of more help.

This product is great for removing the lock ring on the gas tank to the fuel pump and makes it easier to tighten the lock ring after you reinstall the new pump. Works with a Jeep WJ fuel pump lock ring.

I used this on a 2002 Saab 9-5 and it worked very well. I suspect it might also work on a 1989-1993 Saab classic 900 as well (similar design). The casting/edges of the tool are a bit rough/sharp - nothing dangerous but just a little bit crude. In the end it worked well for what I needed and for the cost I would purchase it again.

Have found the same product available for about $20 which is one third of price I paid. Had to use a grinder to make adjustments before using tool.
