We have a very large sectional we locked together with these. After a 4 or 5 months and constant sitting and moving around, they are doing great.

This item is great...The installation was quick and easy. For years, I would experience my sectional separating when laying on it. Now that I have installed these furniture connectors, I no longer have that issue. The connectors were easy to install and because they are screwed on, you have to worry about the connectors not holding or the furniture moving. If you have a sectional that slides, I would definitely recommend these connectors.

These secure the couch sections together very well, but it is a bit difficult to get them lined up right if you don't have some good patience.

Omg, what a difference....I was considering replacing my otherwise well loved leather sectional still in very sturdy condition with the right amount of 'patina' after 15 years of use because the 'male'/'female' style latches that held the sections together gave up the ghost. As a last chance effort I began researching products to replace them and I wound up with these. In my case I was able to remove the existing latches and determine the distance between the existing screw holes and the new ones which saved me from missing the mark from one side to the other. Also worth noting is that my sofa is pretty overstuffed and based on other reviews I expected to have to raise the bracket with some kind of fashioned gasket in order for them to easily connect but I tried it as is first because it would certainly be closer and tighter w/o and although it wasn't super easy, my husband and I with 3-ish trys were able to lift-push them together and shimmy them till they seated properly and voila! I'm so glad I installed this product....WHAT a difference, I HATED them sliding apart.

Used for a sectional sofa. Two tricks that seemed to help:1) To make a "template" I taped a marker to a steel rule. I then could consistently measure from the front edge of the sofa section to the first mounting screw location. Then I used a carpenter's square to measure off the floor. This way, each bracket was in the same relative position so when you connect the sofa sections, everything lines up nicely.2. The "up" and "down" matter. The end sections should always be "down" so you can lift it away when needed. In other words, as you stand and look at the front of each section, the "rights" should always face down and the "lefts" should always face up. Do this incorrectly and you'll lock in your middle sections and won't be able to disassemble the sections (for moving and cleaning).Sturdy pieces. Nice chrome plating. Screw went right in. All good.

I needed to replace the worn-out ones and ordered these and they arrived the next day! They were EASY to install! I used a hand drill and had them installed in less than 5 minutes for a sectional.

Sits too flush to the frame, not enough room with fabric to get them together. Fixed it with a few bolts behind brackets. Once they are on though, they are great!
