The camera shield was well made out of aluminum. It is large enough for smaller cameras, but may have to be extended for larger cameras with junction boxes. For example, the shield covered a Reolink RLC-810A with junction box well but needed extending for a Reolink RLC-811A camera. Installation was relatively easy on poles/trees.

Nice, heavy duty, bendable camera cover. Very happy with the quality and price. I bent mine outward slightly to provide a little better coverage. It took a fair amount of effort to bend it, which speaks to the quality of the cover. Fits over my Reolink Track mix perfectly.

The Camera Cover is straightforward to install and effectively protects the camera beneath. Its dimensions, 10 inches in length and 7.1 inches in width, are sufficient to shield the camera from the sun and rain from above. However, with wings that are 3.15 inches deep, some rain may still reach the camera during strong winds. Fortunately, the camera I use is suitable for outdoor use, so it remains undamaged by rain sprays. The metal cover is robust and likely to be long-lasting. My sole concern is its rust resistance. I hope it endures and helps extend my camera's lifespan. Overall, it gets my recommendation.

This is an excellent shade. I have a smaller camera mounted over our driveway, and due to the configuration of the driveway, and the adjacent exterior wall of our home, I have had to mount the camera with the speaker slots facing upwards. After the first steady rain, these slots filled up with water, and this not only muted the siren sound that is essential to the deterrence function of this camera, but I worried the accumulated rain would result in damage to the camera. So, my initial attempt at a fix was to glue a modified pill bottle cap to the back. This works, but I can't say how long it will last. Then I found this device. It is PERFECT for our installation. I had to also extend the camera farther than normal from the wall, in order to enable a full view of both sides of one of our cars. This cover allows me to protect the entire camera and mount.I have the cover attached to our vinyl siding with 2 VERY handy clips that I have used all around the exterior of our house to mount other cameras and solar panels. In addition, I used two of the supplied screws to pull the top of the shade away from leaning on the camera, and this seems to have worked.I can highly recommend this very well-made product.
