I could have sworn that this product said it was an option to use these on snorkel and scuba fins as well as replacement straps.....but It looks like that's my mistake.For masks, these straps probably work great. Theyre a thin silicone and pretty long. They're a bit too grippy for me to want to put in my hair, but they should stay in place well!

Totally unusable - strap was misidentified as useable for googles. IT IS NOT. Strap is too wide to fit Omid googles. Wasted money on purchase.

The dive mask strap is very solid and the thickness is appropriate. I don't see a problem with using it for a couple years
