I bought these pans for my homemade DIY maple syrup evaporator that I built. These lasted close to 10 seasons, boiling sap over a fire day in and day out. If I had to rebuild another one just like it, I would buy these pans again in a heartbeat. Great product overall.

I'm not sure if any review I give is applicable for this pan because I'm not using it for it's intended purpose on a steam table. I'm using it as a litter box for my cat. I got a cat from the SPCA and I noticed that all the litter boxes they use are stainless steel - no plastic anywhere and they take care of hundreds of animals weekly. I looked all over Amazon for a stainless steel litter box and came up with zero - everything was plastic and they range in cost from $5 to $400. I'm not sure who is stupid or lazy enough to buy a $400 "automatic" litter box but that's another review.I bought a short term use plastic litter box and without fail the newer clumping litter glues itself to the bottom of the plastic pan which is a common complaint about plastic litter boxes.. This stainless pan arrived today and my cat has used it three times and I know already that it is far easier to remove clumping litter from this stainless pan than from my plastic pan. The size is great for a smaller, single cat (21" x 13" x 6" tall). The 6" height is nice and it avoids most litter (not all) from being tossed on the floor. I put a cat litter carpet underneath that works really well so that problem was solved. My cat is female and if you have a male, you may have "firehose" problems regardless of the material or pan height but for a smaller, single female cat, this pan works great. For me, stainless steel is far more hygienic than plastic and I can use any chemical or the hottest water available, steam or even a pressure washer and it won't bother stainless steel and it was $25, not $400. Yeah, I have to scoop poop and pee but with the clumping litter it's far easier than messing with some error prone techno-junk box that acts like an Easy Bake oven for cat poop.If we get another cat, I'll get one more of these pans. They can't break, melt or retain any odor and if you scrub them out, you could run them in a dishwasher (alone!) to sterilize them. Overall, $25 well spent and my cat agrees.

I boil my maple sap with a 55gal drum converted with a camp stove kit. 2 cutouts for pans. These pans are top notch. They don't rust and clean easy enough

Slightly thinner than the pans we used when I worked in kitchens 25 years ago but a good pan. When I smoke brisket I use the full size pan for the last 6 hours of smoking. It holds a whole brisket and is sturdier than the foil pans, also it fits in the top of my Pelican cooler so they're great for keeping side dishes cool

I bought this for a most unusual purpose. It is now the home for my pet Teddy Bear Hamster, Stella. Stella is beyond adorable but she's a fierce chewer and chews anything and everything she can. I supply her with numerous things to chew on and she chooses to chew on the things I don't want her to chew like her housing, water bottle holder, the base of her wheel, etc. I was tired of her chewing through her housing and everything else in sight - all six inches of her. I wanted something she could not chew through. So my ingenious husband cut a hole on the side, smoothed and duct taped around the edges so there would be no chance of her cutting herself getting in and out. It is working like a charm. Whew!

I use this as a litter box inside of an enclosed litter cabinet. Cats have no trouble using it and it’s incredibly easy to clean! No rust or scratches, and is holding up way better than the plastic box I have near it. Highly recommend if you’re considering using it for cat litter

Economical and doubles as a cat box. Works great.
