Works very well= low level heat is just right for starting plants or starting seeds. Easy to use. I planted some succulents without roots and in a few days they were starting to get roots. I think they will all live the thrive. I believe it was worth the price.

Upgrade 20" x 10" Durable Waterproof Seedling Heat Mat with ETL Certified, Warm Hydroponic Heating Pad for Germination,Indoor Plant Gardening and Cutting, Brewing and Seed Starting GreenhouseFirst impressions: Nice simple plastic seed mat. It has a plug in and that’s about it. There is no setting temps or times, just plug it in, it gets warm. It comes in a roll so it wants to stay that way so placing it under something for a bit will help keep it flat.Installation/setup: Plug in and place under your seed starts.Final thoughts: I got this to place under my tie dyed shirts. The blue colors or any containing turquoise require several hours of curing at around 70 degrees or more to cure properly. The dyes will just wash out without proper “batchingâ€. This works well, I can just set it and forget it. I need at least 24 to 48 hours for my shirts and I have confidence this has done the job. I like it, it’s not too complicated and it works.âï¸1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.âï¸âï¸ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.âï¸âï¸âï¸ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

A simple heat mat that's helping with overflow trays from my controlled-temperature greenhouse. I left it plugged in for about five minutes and noticed uneven heat distribution - cooler in the center than at the edges. The reverse would've been easier to work around. The warnings to keep it "within clear sight" but also "out of direct sunlight" seem overly cautious. I haven't been able to replicate the 85°F my trays reached in the greenhouse, and that certainly won’t happen without a few hours of direct sun. It's too early to tell if the seeds will germinate, but I’m glad I started with a test batch I wouldn’t mind losing.

I started my hot peppers from seed and because I was using the heating mat, eight days later they all started to sprout. 🌱

Used this and some tree seeds that were supposed to need significant stratification came up in a few days
