This product will certainly protect your car! DISCLAIMER!!:Just ensure that the key hole is always facing downwards, towards the car floor. I made the mistake of having the key hole facing upwards and unfortunately had to use a power-saw to remove it, because of how durable, heavy duty, and theft-proof it is. I will be purchasing another!

Sometimes it locks and sometimes it doesn't. Frustrating. I might need to return this after we use it a few more times, maybe it's us! It seems very solid, just wish it worked better.

I bought this for a sprinter van as claimed in the posting that this was compatible with trucks, van and so forth. It is not, it's too short and it's measured at 33" fully extended.
