As a professional appliance technician this door boot is a good quality boot. If you don't have the tools to install this boot you will find it difficult to snap on the boot ring. Once I installed this boot it looked great and fit like the original. Expect a good 30-40 mins to complete the job. Over all a good product that is sold a fair price.

I can confirm that this is not nearly as durable as the OEM part.Initially I was happy with it, and it fit perfectly (except for having to cut the drain hole).Worked well for 10 months, then developed this tear near the drain hole.After looking into it more, looks like this area is a common point-of-failure with these non-OEM gaskets.

SAVED ME $300 service call !!! ....You can clean your seal but it is almost impossible to throughly clean the mold build up at the rear. Unless you take it off and scrub the bejesus out of it with that mold removing gel then why put it back on? Quality on this piece is just like original. You really need to match your old one to the new one. Holes are not punched through and this rubber is resilient to cut. A main drain hole was not punched through and to cut it, it required a new razor and trimmed with needle snips. There are several step by step How To videos showing you how to replace this seal on YouTube and they are a lifesaver. BUY THE SPECIAL TOOL !!!! Trust me that without the tool it would be a nightmare. While you have your machine open, might as well adjust the water level of your machine if you feel it needs to fill more. Do not adjust if machine still under warranty. There are videos on that as well. I had to remove a red glue then turn the plastic screw Clockwise 1 and a 1/4 turns to raise the water level in my machine. Watch the video several times, take your time

Great Quality, heavy duty. I wish the hole was pre-cut but that was easily fixed with an exacto knife.

The rubber rim at the washing machine door is bent due to being bent and packaged for delivery. It does not provide a watertight seal and therefore the washing machine leaks out the front door now due to faulty product.
