This upgrade control board matched the numbers on the defrost board of my HVAC system. My control board had burn marks on them. This was completely identical and fit in the same exact location, using the same screws of my original board. This was very easy to install and was more than $100 less than the brand name replacement. Another perfect replacement part.

I noticed board damage while waiting for the HVAC repair crew to arrive. I immediately called and cancelled the service call. Thankfully this board save me hundreds, if not more on repairs. It was a perfect replacement for our unit. It was so easy to replace too.

The defrost board on one of our Goodman heat pumps (we have two,) went out, leaving unit covered in ice during recent snow storm. This one unit has never worked as well as it should, leaving room cold on colder nights. After replacing defrost board, room is now warm in the mornings, so defrost board could have been the problem all along. Watch a video on replacing defrost board before trying to replace board. Disconnect power first, then remove old board (two screws,) leaving wires connected. Install new board, then transfer wires one at the time. Using phone, take a picture of old board before attempting replacement. If you have an older Goodman HP, you will need to transfer wires using printed numbers on the old board. Sell worth having an extra on hand.
