This monitor works well to alert you to battery SOC and Voltage levels. This only works with Bluetooth but it would be better if you could monitor through a Wi-Fi connection as well. Cable length for the positive and negative connections are adequate. Unit is small enough to be unobtrusive on top of the battery and under the hood. Easy to install, provides accurate information to warn me when to put a charger on the battery and seems to be solidly built.

This product showed me just how much my vehicle's battery discharges when I don't drive a lot or just go on short trips. I had been assuming that when the guage on the dash showed a charging voltage reduction from the higher voltage on the guage after the car sat parked for a couple of weeks, that then the battery had "topped-off" after the 15 minute trips I would drive on. Nuh-uh! Not even close. Last week, I had to drive the car for about an hour to get the battery charge level to 100% (it was down to 50% after sitting parked for upwards of 4 weeks). This product shows the % charged as you drive on your cellphone as you drive. Nice. It has a number of other useful features also. Check out the specs. It tests vehicle charging systems, e.g. Very easy to install if you're handy at all.

I purchased this battery monitor for use with my teardrop camper. I have it connected to a lithium 100 amp battery and run all of the electricals of the camper including a 12 V refrigerator. This battery monitor has been SUPER helpful for me to monitor battery life to adjust my electrical consumption. The Bluetooth range is good as I’m mostly in reasonable proximity from the battery when I check status. Also love that I can check the battery health from inside my home with the battery in my garage. So far, it seems to be quite accurate. Excellent product, great price, and a fantastic addition to my camping needs!

Had issues with CRV hybrid 12V battery. Car doesn't show any battery information. I can now easily keep an eye on battery health. App is nice, but does crash often and has to be restarted on my S24.

App listed the device (found it correctly via BT) but wouldn’t connect/register the device so a fail before things even got started. Couldn’t get any further. App review in AppStore is 1.8 (currently), so apparently I’m not the only one having issues. (I should have checked the App ratings before buying the product.)

This model is a surefire upgrade to previous versions. Like before: the Bluetooth works well under 30 ft. , good accuracy for voltage and battery style ( I have agm ), and cranking test. The upgrade is the history memory, several days are stored on device itself without need to have phone within range. This is great because I used to leave an old phone in my van but it needed to be plugged in so used power. Hard to track a parasitic power drain when the phone used so much. This barely draws any power >1 milli-amp. So happy with it I will probably buy one for my other car!

The product itself is very simple - it's a box with leads that attach to the positive and negative terminals of your car battery. The real value in this item is the app.I found this almost by mistake. I was looking for a replacement battery charger/tender for my project car (it doesn't get driven much and the battery condition is always an adventure when I get in). The app connects to the box via Bluetooth and gives you status on voltage, temperature, charging and other data over time. I attached a screen shot of my app after I'd had it hooked up for a bit.Since I don't drive the car, the location data isn't all that interesting but I do find being able to see that my battery tender is periodically charging useful. All in all, I like it.

edit to update range: I've been able to connect and update status when my car was in the driveway and I was standing by the front door (inside the house) and also when the car is in the garage and I'm inside the house (probably only 10 feet away, but with walls between). I haven't tested further - for my purposes this is great.Purchased to monitor my car battery after another one died sooner than it seemed as though it should. Specifically looked for a newer version of bluetooth which this has. I don't have any history with this type of product to compare against, but it has met my expectations. I can check the battery status without opening the hood and each time the device syncs it loads historical data into the app on my phone. I don't think I'd get near a 33 foot range on a battery in my car but I've had no issues from 5-10 feet away. Easy to install.

Works well as advertised. Have to be close to car for information. Useful for seeing battery charge as car is prone for some reason to drain the battery. My only suggestion is the black and red wires be a couple of inches longer - it did fit but make it more fiddly.

Appena installato e con la sua applicazione funziona benissimo. Da un sacco di informazioni sulla batteria ed e' facilissimo da installare. Speriamo duri nel tempo.......
