This product is very nicely constructed and a perfect fit. The fuel injectors went in snug. All the bolts fit perfectly. Rubber seals all worked great. Clean finish to an easy job.

When attaching the upper intake manifold to this lower one the bolts do not thread properly into this. All of them were like this. Item returned.

Just put this product on my Jeep wrangler it exactly perfect fit not a complaint here all the smaller bolts where there and went on with easiest much better then the plastic one differently would recommend buying this product only bad thing is it doesn’t come with the 3 longer bolt needed to tighten down upper intake try several places to find them no one carry that kind bolts now it wait and see what my next step will be nice product just need to fix the hardware problem

Working on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK, saw crack in the plastic lower intake manifold, found this aluminum intake manifold on Amazon. I used to be a tool maker and manufacturing engineer in aerospace industry, took chance bought this product. Looking it over quality is pretty good, threads decently cut, aligns with heads spot on. Had to get bolts for the upper intake manifold, no biggy. Amazon did not have what I needed for bolts, found them at Master Carr. Great product, have it installed on my Jeep, performs well, runs great no leaks, great product. Highly recommended for getting rid of Mopar Cheapo Plastic.PS Someone needs to make better upper intake, get rid of that crappy plastic.

The gaskets on the underside tend to fall out when you are trying to get it into position. The gaskets stick easier to the OE plastic manifold. I don't know if it's right or not, but I used a little silicone paste to hold the gaskets in.

The lower intake bolts are too short also the three upper intake bolts are 3 in Long and none of the bolts they provide are anywhere near that size. The intake itself is very nice it's a tight fit but you'll have to go and get all new bolts or reuse your lower intake bolts and get new upper intake bolts

I just received this and have not installed it yet. I will add more after I install this. First, this unit that came with new machine thread bolts. The old intake plenum bolts are for plastic. Gaskets are preinstalled. The craftsmanship is impeccable. The manufacturer wanted to reduce weight and used plastic all over the engine. BIG mistake! Plastic swells at a different rate than aluminum. Result? Gaskets get worn out and leak due to constant sliding. That's why the oil filter housing inevitably leaks. Back to the manifold. The manifold came inside form fitting black foam, The kind of foam that you cut out and use to store tools. It is heavier than the OE plastic manifold, but worth it. I wish that someone made an aluminum plenum and valve covers. Dorman, who has really upped their game, makes most of the parts better than OE. They make an oil filter housing, thermostat housing, and timing cover. ( The OE timing cover is thin and eventually can warp.) The Dorman timing cover is thicker aluminum. I found a water pump with a metal turbine. Metal housed thermostats are available too. Any knowledgeable mechanic can confirm how bad it is to mate plastic with aluminum. Get rid of the plastic and "BULLETPROOF" your engine.

Nice looking part however the seller claims this will work on 2012 - 2017 Wranglers but they have not included the three long bolts required for the wrangler upper intake. So for now it’s a paper weight. I’ll send it back or get some bolts made at a machine shop but that adds cost to the item that I shouldn’t have to bear.Update: I had some bolts made at a machine shop. The seller offered to reimburse me $20 for my troubles. Everything fit well. Everything torqued up okay. Im only upping my rating to 3 stars as the customer should not have to mess with making bolts.
