Finally had a chance to test/try 3 weeks after we purchased during first camping trip. The heat difference on the grill was amazing. Finally able to cook food in a timely manner due to less heat loss. Also, for 1st time, we had to actually turn the heat down. Before, we always had to leave on HIGH setting just to get enough heat to cook food. AND, it was a slow process.Can only give 4 stars because it appears as though one of the magnets came loose after 1st use. (Appears glue used to hold magnet in place broke loose). Seller only allows refunds within 30 days. Hard to return while sitting in a campground.. :(

We have a new Blackstone 17" griddle and bought these wind guards. They arrived quickly, were easy to install, and they work great. Recommend.

These things definitely improve the performance of the Blackstone. I use it almost exclusively on the beach, where it is often windy. The back guard is easily/annoyingly knocked off by opening and closing the lid. Also, you better get these things positioned perfectly before you fire it up. Because after a few seconds… hot hot hot.After 2 weekends of use (firing the griddle up a total of six times - two bottles of propane) one of the magnets dislodged. It looks like they are glued in the pockets with a red epoxy. You can kind of shove the magnet back in IF you can locate it, and notice it is missing. Come on though… two weekends? Might be able to rig up a more permanent fix with some high-heat JB weld, but at that point I would almost want to force all the magnets out and fix them all properly. The malfunction happened the day my Amazon return window closed. I was too busy enjoying time at the beach with my family to think about my return window. So now I am left with a product that does work, but needs tweaking and improvements.If you purchase them, use them hard… right away so you don’t get stuck with a defective product.

These fit, attach, and work perfectly on my Blackstone 22â€. It’s used on outdoor picnics where wind can really affect the cooking performance of the griddle. They also allow use of the grease trap. Light, cheap and magnetic. What’s not to like!

Just getting into flat top grilling - functions as advertised; keeps the heat on the grill. Super easy to install, fits perfectly, seems tough and should last forever.

Our Blackstone griddle is on our deck, wich is by the lake and there can be strong winds off the water, this can disperse the heat on the griddle making for uneven cooking. These wind guards provided the perfect solution to block the wind! easy to attach with the strong magnets.
