This is a good upgrade if you use wired temperature sensors. This works perfect for keeping the wires out of the way of the cover. I no longer have to fiddle with getting the cover to fit right due to the wires in the way. Yes, this is not designed nor did it come with the kettle grill, however a simple drill hole and a stepper drill bit works fine. I drilled at the rack level so I can run the wires of my temperature probes either above or below the rack, depending if I will need to remove the rack. Either way, this is a good update to a normal weber kettle grill of any diameter.

I lost the original probes that came with the thermometer. These replacements are just perfect.

I had the probe die on my OXO meat thermometer, and couldn't find any product specifically stating that they'd work. Took a shot on this one, and it shows within ~1F of what my kettle says, so I'm calling that good!Anyone happening to look for a replacement probe for an OXO meat thermometer, this should do the trick!

Junk. Got one use out of it and now it reads inaccurate. As you see in picture, it shows 4 different readings from 130-220 degrees Fahrenheit just sitting on my counter top.

I added this port to my old 18.8†Weber Smokey Mountain smoker because it never had a port. I used a unibit to carefully drill the hole, dressed the edges, and protected the edges with high temperature bbq paint. It looks like a factory install.Would buy again!

Came out to check my cook. Noticed gromet was melted. Not ideal.
