I noticed our vacuum hose had some holes in it from general wear and tear. I went to the Shark website to order a factory replacement, but they were out of stock with no ETA. So, to Amazon I went and came across this exact replacement unit, for less than half the price of the factory version.I was a little hesitant, based on some of the other reviews, but figured I would give it a shot since I didn't have many other options.THE GOOD: The unit installed super quick and easily and worked perfectly (I have suction again!). The cost for this unit is a great value, even if it only lasts half as long as the last one.THE BAD: Nothing really BAD, however, I do wish the hose was the same length as the original, instead of slightly longer. It sags a bit when in the upright position, so it doesn't look as clean. And, the plastic definitely feels cheap, compared to the factory part. As others have shown in their reviews, I won't be surprised if/when the release tab breaks off. But, so far, so good.

I actually appreciate that this item is not shark manufactured. It is the second hose on a shark product that I have had to replace in 5 years. I I did not want to give shark any more of my money. It doesn't match the color but I don't mind that at all since I am not in the habit of displaying my vacuum, it lives in a closet. The hose fit is perfectly compatible and that's what I was looking for. Thank you!

Had to replace the original hose when I accidentally sucked up a small cat toy and it lodged in the U section near the handle. Couldn’t get it out so I had to replace the entire part. This works perfectly.

The hose in my Shark vacuum developed a hole after many years of use. I had taped it closed, but then found this on Amazon. It was a perfect fit and easy to install. Much cheaper than a new vacuum.

El artÃculo llegó bastante antes de lo esperado. Es de buena calidad. DirÃa que la parte superior embona bien, pero hay que presionar un poquito más para escuchar el click y que quede bien colocada en su lugar.Una vez hecho esto, el aditamento funciona perfectamente.Estoy muy satisfecha con esta compra.
