I had a snug fitting belt-worn water bottle holder for when I would mow the lawn or go on hikes. It eventually wore out and this was purchased as a replacement. It's very sturdy, with a number of ways to mount to your belt, bag, or otherwise. Unfortunately they're all kind of awkward and while they work, none of them work great. Having said that, the drawstring closure ensures that my water bottle has never fallen out, and the pouch is big enough to carry a variety of sizes.

These pouches work acceptably not great, but at this price for two it's a no brainer. We used these regularly on a multi-day hike in Spain which kept hands free for hiking sticks, binocs and a camera. At home I use them for longer dog walks when I'm holding a leash and sometimes a flashlight, and on my rucks when I'm wearing gym shorts with no pocket for my cell phone. The design is plenty flexible to hold tall bottles as well as wide mouth bottles, and the velcro straps provide flexible options to hang from a belt or off bag loops. Can't beat these for the price and you get two of them.

There are reviews saying the quality of this is poor and will begin to fall apart. Perhaps it's true as I've only had mine for a short time. While I've had it I've taken it out in the field with an oversized water bottle and it held it securely while attached to my belt. I've also taken it on flights while attached to a knapsack carryon and have been very pleased with it. It's pretty versatile in how you can attach it and do far I've seen no sign of it coming apart. Even if it does the cost is not that high and I'd simply buy a new one.

Very versatile with molle straps and drawstrings for different bottle sizes. Holds bottle securely. I have mine mounted on the lower portion of the shoulder straps on a small day pack. I carry my dog's water bottles for hunting. They are way more affordable than most.

Its alittle big for my nalgene bottle, I'm using the 1L version. But no big issue, just roll down the sleeve alittle. Quality feels pretty awesome for the price.
