So a plastic part broke on our dishwasher and I envisioned scheduling an appliance repair. On a whim I looked for a part number and did a search for parts. I couldn't figure out how to order from appliance parts websites, so I tried on Amazon. I found a part that matched with the part number on the piece, ordered and received in just two days. I was concerned by some misspellings on the description page, but it worked out great. The video was essential for me to do the replacement; oddly though the "how to remove the old part" actually shows second in the video. Typically when I try a home repair I need to buy some tool or other and sometimes buy a second item after breaking a part with my first attempt; but replacing this part went great. It seemed to fit just like the original. My wife was impressed that I fixed it rather than waiting for the appliance guy!

First, it is a bit of a challenge to assemble and two parts do not work without some easy modifications. But clearly, this is more sturdy than my original. I have a KitchenAid and a tab that holds the assembly to the metal slider broke. This kit matched my model number. First, when putting the new holder on the dish rack, one of the channels that the plastic part has to slide over the metal wire rack is too narrow. There are two channels and one is too skinny. It is easy to widen it with a drill bit that is the same size as the wire rack gauge. a nail file might work as well, or even a bit of whittling with a box cutter (be careful). Second, the plasitic tabs that engage with the metal slding rack are slightly thicker. This is VERY easy to fix by using a standard flat screwdriver to pry/widen the gap on the metal rack. Gentle pressure, and you can make the gap wider and then the new plastic tab will slide in easy. I do not recomend filing down the plastic tab as that would weaken it and possibly shorten its life span. This new replacemnt part is clearly a bit more sturdy, so I expect it to last the rest of the dishwasher's life.

It has taken me hours to find, watch and play online videos on repeat to see the correct angles in order to put these parts together. Very difficult to find good instructions on how to do it that aren’t blocked by hands in the way. Even though my model number is clearly listed in the seller’s compatibility list for my KitchenAid, the polymer tabs that broke on the upper rack are too thick on the replacement piece. They will not drop down and slide into the metal track holder no matter how much we push. Comparing the old to the new, we see the original part is far thinner to slide down into the metal housing notches on the track where they are meant to move forward a bit so the front notch can click into place correctly. They are about 1/8 inch too thick, which is awful since it took me so long to put all the pieces back together. Other reviewers said they had to file the tabs down to the right thickness and I suppose if I do that, they will just break again and be impossible to return. It means more time to dismantle it and mail it back which is hardly worth the trouble. Not thrilled with this product at all or the false advertising about model compatibility and would not buy again. The pieces that accompany the large T-shaped flat adjuster all look pretty identical to the originals but those were extraneous in the kit for my purposes.

Installed a pair yesterday after reviewing several YouTube videos to supplement sellers video.Removing and replacing two, took 30 minutes and required only a screwdriver and some pliers. The parts seem to be sturdy and fit into the Kitchenaid without any modification.A minor complaint: The kit does not include the adjuster protective housing which is made from the same aging plastic as the adjuster's themselves. So this leaves a weak point in the repair. The seller video doesn't cover this detail, and at first I thought they had left out some parts.PROS: Installation was pretty easy and nothing required modification. The parts fit nicely and did not interfere with the drawer mechanism as some review suggests they may.CONS: No instructions on how to adjust or level the completed repair. No replacement 'adjuster housing' is provided, so if that part is also defective, your repair will be in vain. We'll see how this holds up. The OEM parts began to fail after about 5 years as I recall.

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher and the top rack collapsed when I was loading it. My husband ordered this replacement bracket and it was very easy to install. It fit perfectly. Looks more sturdy than the original. My dishwasher was back in business within a couple days. Yippy!

Parts have a rough/matte finish almost chalky feel and feel brittle. Install is straight forward and they seemed to fit and function well, before they broke. After only a handful of months the mounting points broke off. I emailed vendor to take advantage of the warranty and was given a full refund.

Some how in some way this piece broke on a 4 year old KitchenAid dishwasher. This is a home I own with my wife that my son lives in while he is finishing up school. I tried to find the part but over the 4 years the model number changed along with the part number. Then I stumbled on your product and it was very clear you had the correct part in stock. This was after a online part store told me the part was no longer available. The part arrived within two days and it told minutes to install. Thankful for your company.

This part on my KitchenAid dishwasher is poorly designed and the OEM and replacement parts are not satisfactory. The OEM rack adjusters lasted about two years before both sides broke at the locating tabs and push button locks. I ordered two different replacements which only lasted about a month each. This product claims to be "improved", so lets hope that is correct. It has a long warranty, so I hope I don't need to use it. The parts were harder to install than the other replacements, so I am hoping that means better durability. The install is very difficult and not intuitive. Thanks for the posting of a "how to" video, which I would not have managed without. I will update if any changes to my review.

Parts are tight fit there is no play within the rack once installed guaranteed to break again soon. The supplier statement of this is an upgrade...loll it is not an upgrade i assure you not even close as a matter of fact it is a down grade if anything. Garbage product spen more money get an OEM part and save the hassel not worth it one bit. I highly suggest to stay away from this product and do not reccomend it at all !!
