The fabric is velvety and flowy. But heavy enough to hug the cubes and not stick out weird. It’s long enough to cover and feel confident and comfortable in, but short enough to feel spunky and cute. This is exactly what I was looking for and I appreciate that the product description and size guide was 100% accurate. Highly recommend

I was concerned about the length of this skirt but it's definitely long enough (I am 5' 2" and it's close to my knees). The material feels great and it fits a tiny bit small. There are a lot of threads hanging off the one I received.

Pro: This skirt is well made. I've worn it multiple times while dance skating. The fabric is soft and has just enough weight to keep its shape while spinning. This skirt moves and flows beautifully. The color is a deep, dark jewel tone teal.Con: As other reviewers mentioned, the elastic band within the top waist seam is not attached. It is also only 1 inch thick, but the top waist it is inside of is about 2 inches thick. This can cause the elastic to flip around and bunch at times. I do have to adjust it regularly which is a bit of an annoyance, but in no way a deal breaker. A few well placed stitches to anchor the elastic may fix this issue.I'm tall and this skirt is VERY short. It's bearly long enough to cover my booty. I'm an athlete and am used to wearing skating costumes. So I feel comfortable wearing it with running shorts underneath. That being said, some individuals may feel it is to short for them.Over all this skirt is a good buy and I very much enjoy wearing it.

It’s lovely but it is a little cheaply made and it would be nice to have more sizing options I got the biggest size and it’s a little tight bearable though and it has a chemical smell when you first get it so you should wash it first mostly polyester and some spandex I’m not sure if I’d buy it again

As a conservative girlie, this was the PERFECT length. Fell about 3" above the knee, was comfortable and warm. The color was perfect for a santa themed party.

This is not for women who are thicker in the lower body . It rises horribly . For me, a bigger size would have been too big in the waist. This is best for women who are skinner in the lower body

I had been hesitant to order this skirt being taller than average, but the black velvet at a great price was worth the risk. I sized up from my usual medium to a large with the intention of wearing it at my hips rather than my waist, and when it arrived I was a little nervous - the waistband seemed less stretchy and forgiving than reviews had led me to believe.when I tried it on, my concerns dissipated. the waistband doesn't have an incredible amount of stretch, but I can comfortably wear it at my hips or more high-waisted, and while it is short, it still covers my (admittedly small) butt and hangs around mid-upper thigh on me. this is one I'll likely wear hose with, or not, circumstances depending.it does seem a bit sheer, honestly. not overly so, but barely noticeable to me. dark panties and/or hose or tights and it'll be fine. though I'm almost certain it will give me another Marilyn moment and blow up on a windy day, that is a risk with many skirts and dresses I'm willing to take.black skater skirts are a versatile staple for casual dress, and even better in velvet. this one is lovely, and lives up to the hype.

This skirt in medium was listed as 15.7 inches long. When measured against my daughter's thigh, the length would have landed just above her knee (the length we wanted) when we reviewed the chart on purchase. When the skirt arrived it landed much higher, at mid-thigh or higher. A true mini that seemed much shorter. We returned it before measuring the length to see it was 15.7 inches long, but it just wasn't what my modest daughter was looking for. The described length may have included the wide waist elastic band as part of the length, which may be misleading. However, it was soft, comfortable and velvety which was great by my standpoint, but it had a sheen my daughter didn't care for. Was returned. Hard to find this great style of skirt that is a bit longer without any rouching.
