I needed a longer bracket to create more space between my grommet blackout curtains and the sheers. With the shorter brackets, the curtains would catch the sheers when opening and closing them and it bugged me. I took down those brackets and installed these. I thought they would be too long but decided to use them, and am glad I did. They work great, are heavy duty and fairly easy to install. Because my blackout curtains are heavy, and the weight is on the end of the bracket, I used really sturdy anchors. Do not recommend using the anchors that come with the brackets. I needed three brackets and got six in the order….not sure if that was my mistake or the vendors. Just be aware that you order single or pair base your need. I returned three still packaged and had to pay return shipping (if they are returned unpackaged, there is an additional fee), so be aware.

The rod fixing screws are too short for fixing 1" rod. less to say for fixing 3/4" rod. What is the fixing screw size, 4 mm? I have to find a longer screw from Home Depot. Without a substitute longer fixing screw, I will have return the bracket.

These are extremely solid! Metal material, will not bend with heavy curtains. The double rod part can be removed if not needed. I needed the long extension to go past the mini blinds, couldn’t find anything locally. So happy to have found and bought these! At first I was like, $18 for one window? Bought, tried it and of course went back and bought more. Super solid!

Great functionality for extending the length from the wall of my curtain rods. I have a wall unit underneath my window and the extenders prevented the curtains from pressing up against the wall unit. Easy to install, high quality, and great value for your money.
