Yes, it's foam rubber, but very dense. The included mounting tape won't adhere well to stucco, so I mounted with Hillman Group 35243 Hex Washer Head White Sheet Metal Screws in addition to the tape. These will have to be used carefully to avoid creating a scratch risk. In my application, only one side is exposed to possible contact with a vehicle, so I used screws only on the unexposed side, and the bumper is robust (stiff) enough to make this work.

My husband has difficulty assessing how much room he has went parking or removing our sub from the garage. In all fairness to him, it is a tight fit. He backed out recently scraping the side of the car where these were placed. The only “damage†was from the rubber which rubbed off onto the car as it was protecting the body from a scrape. A little rubbing compound and wax removed the rubber and it was like it never happened! This product saved our car from serious damage!!

Bought this to have on a support column in my garage (prevent door dings). Column is square, 4 corners, all 90 degrees. Got this (admittedly a bit pricy) corner guard and first two things I noticed is the smell (strong foam smell), and the fact it’s not a 90 degree corner, it’s more like 100 degrees. So attaching it to the 90 corner results in it not making full contact. You can press it in place, but overnight the adhesive will pull away from the corner and the foam. I really don’t get why it’s not a 90 degree corner. So, tbh, I don’t know what to think about this. The foam seems nice. The 3m tape attached seemed haphazard (lots of unattached bumps), but mostly just the profile seems ridiculous. Who has 100 degree corners?Guess we’ll see how it does medium term, but would say look elsewhere if you have a “corner†to protect.

Expensive, but it works! Attached to exterior brick corner, and remains tightly attached. Still looks new after months of exposure! We'll never scrape a bumper again!

This is a high quality rubber. Unfortunately the tape did not last a day. Perhaps it's because I tried to adhere it to stucco. I tried Gorilla Glue to no avail. I will probably have to use drywall screws or something else. I was able to cut it to size using a steak knife. It looks good, if I can just get it to stick.

I bought this for the outside corner of my garage side door. This will prevent my side door from hitting the bricks if the door is opened too widely. It comes with 3m tape so it was quite easy to install. I ordered some white concrete screws to secure it even further. This is just a preventative measure on my part. You never know how long the tape will hold. The foam is nice and dense, so it should protect my door just fine. I got white that’s why my screw heads are white.

Under ground parkade cement beam! I covered that nasty corner and also duct taped it on. Perfect.

I HAVE A POWER WHEELCHAIR AND NEEDED A CORNER PROTECTOR TO AVOID THE OCCASIONAL SCRAPE AND NEEDED ONE BOTH WIDE AND THICK TO PROTECT CORNERS. DOES A GREAT JOB SO I WOULD BUY AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
