Used as a substrate to make a Halloween mannequins hair and it worked perfectly. I used it to improve the grip on a gardening tool tote, a few garden tools and as a buffer on some sharp posts. Great item.

I am simply confirming what another user recommend, and reviewed, I had 1/4' x 3/8" size: These do work for guitar stands, and are a decent replacement for worn out stand cushioning. they do fit. they are a bit puffy, a tad softer than I expected, for over all YES for stand replacement cushion. I have NOT used these on pipes or heating systems. so can't say they work for designed purpose. enjoy. (giving 4 stars, would give 5 if they were a tad firmer, but hey, they are not made for what I am using them for!!)

hello,we had our front loading new washer and dryer installed. the myriad of stainless steel covered hoses on the back were multiplied with the "steam" version of the washer and dryer. so, the hoses in the back multiplied. upon running the washer dryer for the first time, we noticed a clunking and clanging noise coming from the units. this was during the steam cycle and it was not a good noise.because the front load washer and dryer are tall and fill up the laundry room space, we needed something to make that noise stop. we found out that it was the "y" attachment and hoses for the steam valves on both machines. so, we found this flexible foam covering for a certain size tubing or pipe. it did not fit perfectly, but we put a slit all along the foam covering and it wrapped the stainless steel covered hoses perfectly. we also used the flexible self wrapping rubberized tape to keep the split hose covering in place. after all of the covering and tape usage, the clanging noise stop...well actually it did not stop, the flexible foam covering covered up the noise because it was not banging on the back of the washer.now, there is no noise at all and the hose covering plus the flexible tape did the job. yea!

Will not buy this produc again- poorly made- No pre-cut and pre-glued as the one I bought 5 years ago- Thin, so insulation of the pipe is no that great

Used to insulate my refrigerant copper pipes to my split unit air conditioner. The unit is outdoor and partially in the sun so needed to redo the foam insulation. worked well but wish the tubing came with a slit down the middle and adhesive tape. But still good quality insulating tubing.

I injured my knee, and the crutches were fast making my palms hurt. I got this, and it is great for cushioning the handles of the crutches. You cut it to width, make a longitudinal cut to be able to put it on the handle, and then tape it in place. Did the same thing for my cane.Wow, is this effective for these purposes. My palms don't hurt any more. Compared to buying cycle or gym gloves, this is a much more effective, convenient, and cost effective option for saving your palms from pain when using crutches.

Very cheap material, rips and tears as soon as you start to pull on it.. As you pull the insulation up onto the pipe or whatever you are insulating, the insulation rips apart.
