Bought a new dishwasher, and wanted to make sure it was absolutely quiet. The Bosch was already quiet, but figured a little more insulation couldn’t hurt. This padding is nice and thick, and does a good job of deadening the sound. It’s probably overkill, but doing it once on install, I don’t have to think about it again.

I had a mouse ruin my dishwashers original insulation. It was a super fluffy cotton like material that only covered the top and part of the sides. This product was thinner than I thought it would be but is much more dense than the original insulation and provided coverage of the sides, back, and top. The noise is slightly less than with original insulation but my washer is quiet to begin with. Good choice if you need to replace your original insulation without paying the outrageous prices of "genuine" parts.

My dishwasher came with a thin fabric sound deadener on the top and a little on sides. I put this item on top, both sides and back and secured to original product and dishwasher. I also put hush mat with adhesive backing on back and sides under the original fabric. Works great with noticeable noise reduction.

Our dishwasher is a bit noisy so we thought this insulation blanket would help with the sound. Just in case we put two layers on. It did nothing, still sounds noisy.

The sound insulating blankets were worth every penny! Cheapest price unit I could find, but I have to look for lights to know the dishwasher is running. Super easy to install, used duct tape to secure the two blankets, which covered top, sides and back nicely.
