I purchased a heated electrical cord to help protect my pool equipment PVC pipes in subfreezing weather and needed to add insulation wrap to the pipe where the power cord is zip tied to it. I initially tried a foil backed fiberglass material but it was terrible to work with, hard to keep in place and looks sloppy too. This foam wrap was pretty easy to apply, though cutting it into 3-4' strips made it easier to use. So far it is sticking well to the pipe and looks much more professional.

Very easy to use and appear adequate to do the job. Will update AFTER the Texas freeze.

Heavyweight insulation with adhesive on one side. Only problem with it is the adhesive is covered with some waxy paper that you have to peel off. The waxy paper is quite thin and tends to tear as you try to remove it. Once it is off, it seems to work well.

Wherever I've used this for insulation tough spots, edges, corner, it's been great. Completely insulates.

I had installed a 9000 BTU AC in the back of a VW bus. The only problem was that the AC airlines dripped condensation and puddle on the floor. I had the best air duck lines known to man that could be purchased, but to no avail. Installed this insulation tape, which is a spongy material, which Adhered to my lines and the problem was gone. One word of caution if you think you need one roll by two or three this is great.

I tried to use this to wrap around insulation. It kept unwinding and wasn't as sticky as I would prefer. But once I used duct tape, it seems to have done the job.

Poor quality product does not adhere well once exposed to the elements. I would not buy again
