The Stihl battery mower handles were both bare. The one for the power and the one for the drive would simultaneously dig into your hands. This closed cell foam fit around the diameter of the handles perfectly. I cut two pieces to length. Removed the handles, snaked the handles through the tubing and reattached the handles. Now I mow in relative comfort. After two seasons the material still looks new.

I use this on all of my tool handles. I have it on all my crochet hooks, my chainmail pliers, my wire wrapping/weaving pliers, craft blade, I know there are more but I'm coming up blank. I have carpal tunnel syndrome as well as cubital tunnel syndrome and a GIANT ganglion cyst on one wrist. Without these on the handles of my tools I absolutely cannot do any of my crafts. If it won't go on the handle of something I have (handle is too big for the hole in the foam) I will cut the foam down the side and either use large heat shrink over it to clamp it on or racket ball handle wrap on it. You can use self adhesive medical wrap (think vet wrap) or electrical tape or even kt tape. I just prefer heat shrink or the racket handle wrap personally.

Sort of wrinkly and never unwrinkled. They are very thin. I wouldn’t recommend them for much of anything.

Used this product to replace the old pads for a bike rack. After only two trips it started showing damage. Would not suggest this product to be used as a replacement pad.

I used it to replace the dried cracked padding on my guitar stands. It does the job just fine.
